What is one thing you wish you did on your wedding day?
This is why we do what we do.
So thankful 🥹
In 2018 I had a dream.
A dream to create weddings that people would speak of for years to come.
When I grew up most people had the employee mindset of needing stability of steady income, and a pension plan or as a women you needed to be the stay at home mom who took care of the house and the kids.. yet I always felt I was made for more.
So for years I had the opportunity to try many different types of Jobs some great some terrible.. to make a long story short what I found in the end was my hate for crappy leadership skills and never feeling like I was of value to the people I worked for.
I always had weddings in my back pocket and did maybe 2-5 a year for friends or referrals but again never felt comfortable with the risk of going out and doing it full time only to fail and not pay my bills not to mention how many times I was shot down from the people around me at the time…
Almost two years ago I had this amazing man Kyle Boddy come into my life and challenge everything and I mean I everything I thought I knew about the money making world.
He introduced me to the book RichdadPoordad and told me of how his friends at Trust Your Talent build there dream from the ground up, how much time and sacrifices they made to build there now thriving business.
And so began the shift.
It wasn’t long after quitting my job at the time that me and Kyle sat down and realized our dream to have kids out powered anything else we had going on. So my dream went back in the pocket.
I used my fear of failure and my pregnancy to justify myself why I couldn’t invest in myself and my dreams.
Fast forward to having Ana I was asked if I could help with one wedding. Just one and I thought hey you know what I can do that. From that came 4 more weddings, I was in shock. I have a newborn I can’t work.. a million questions…with all the fear and stress on my face my amazing Kyle sat me down and helped me realize I have everything it takes to make this work and that he would support me if I wanted to go all in.
Take the risk and jump off the mountain head first without a parachute.. or at least that’s how it felt.
As 1 Wedding become 4 and 4 became 22 it started to hit me that holy s**t this is happening.
Fast forward to now and I have hired my first team member and have a plan to hire two more after the holidays.
We have 4 months in 2024 COMPLETELY BOOKED!
And have NOT ONE BUT 2 EXPOS.
Getting to this point took a lot of late nights, early mornings and sacrifices. It took full blown meltdowns and given the lap top the finger over 10,000 times but we are here. Finding the perfect balance between being a mom, a loving wife and business own.
It brings me to tears to invite you all to join me in this amazing journey, my social media marketing team and assistant Ashley Gauld is working hard to get all of our socials up to date.
Once we are live and updated I will be posting where you can go to follow and support our team.
To those who showed up to make this happen.
To those who helped me pull my fear away.
Tho those who help me challenge my mom guilt.
