From orchestrating magnificent local to destination weddings and events to crafting intimate, heartfelt ceremonies, my journey has been adorned with moments of pure joy and profound fulfilment.⁠

Highlights of my career? Gosh, where do I begin? It all began back in Melbourne when I was studying hospitality. I had so much fun working at the MCG, Melbourne Cup, volunteering on charity events, corporate events, I also got to work overseas in academia.. But above all of this, I'd say the biggest highlight has been every time I have had an opportunity to work on a wedding, see the client's vision come to life, the spark in their eyes, and the joy in their hearts - these are the moments that fuel my passion and drive me.⁠

Truth bomb: You can probably find a wedding planner or a vendor for cheap. That’s just real talk.
Not every vendor will have the same pricing structure.

When you're weighing up your decisions to hire someone for their services, remember that each person in this industry has worked hard to get to their position. Yes, we are normal people, we also have families, bills to pay, mortgages and so on.

We have also built a brand though and certain things may set us all apart. For example, some of you may prefer purchasing your handbags from Louis Vuitton, yet others may be happy to shop for their handbags from Target, right?!

What's "reasonable" for you may not be "reasonable" for someone else, and that is why one vendor charges differently to another.

Finally, when comparing costs, just remember that it does also take a village. You may be working with a 1-person team or a team of 12.

We all run our businesses very differently to each other, but we also take pride in what we do. It's the kind of thing that makes us feel good about ourselves! That's the beauty of working in this beautiful industry.

Don't be afraid when approaching vendors, but just keep the above points in mind. There's someone out there to help you with your plans. I know it. 😉

How beautiful is this invitation?

I don't know about you, but I love a gorgeous wedding invitation, especially when it's captured from this angle!

Your wedding invitation suite introduces your guests to the style of your big day/days. It creates a sense of anticipation of what is to come at the celebration, so make it memorable for your guests.

Loved how Samiha and Mishkat entrusted the help of myself and the wonderful to bring their ideas together for their wedding invitation. If it wasn’t for their input though, in particular design and colours, we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off. Team effort!

Don’t forget, creating an invitation actually requires weeks and months of preparation and work behind the scenes. We gather all your wedding ideas, determine the colour palette for each event and then the fun part, decision making process! This is the level of quality our planning clients have grown to expect from us.

Can I be honest with you? Many people assume I am a wedding planner because I get to organise pretty parties.. 🤩 Although that is just one of many reasons why I love this job, I really do what I do because it allows me to take time to do what really matters, like connecting with amazing wedding industry professionals and awesome couples.

There are a million reasons why I love this job, but this is what really lights me up.

As we enter the last quarter of the year, it's a great time for us to pause and reflect and be grateful for the strong relationships we have built in this ever-evolving wedding industry.

Oh, the places you’ll go!

Since moving back to Australia (I lived in Ireland for 3.5 years before Sydney FYI), I haven't had a proper break to be honest. This week I'm off to Europe and Singapore to catch up with family and just simply breathe.

Today I'm grateful that after a long and gruelling 4 year break, I'm finally on a vacation!

I started this business with the intention of broadening my horizons, but it’s taken me so much further! What a gift!

Honestly, I’m at my personal best after I've had my daily morning cup of coffee. Inspiration tends to hit only after my morning walk/meditation session and the all important coffee shot...

Then I typically hit up Instagram and Pinterest... duh right?! I like to pay attention to the little details and look for things such as travel images, real weddings, tablescapes, floral design, jewellery, bridal designers and so much more.
