Faith Doucette, daughter of Julie & Nick Doucette, from St-Paul de Kent was diagnosed with a rare disease called SOTOS SYNDROME. (also known as cerebral gigantism)
Ex: She is currently 15 months and wears size 4-5T
SOTOS SYNDROME is a rare genetic condition that causes overgrowth in childhood, learning disabilities or delayed development of mental and movement abilities. Problems with speech and language is also common. Additionally, weak muscle tone may delay other aspects of early development, particularly motor skills such as sitting and crawling.
The family is currently waiting for the latest results from their recent trip to IWK to know what will be their next step of treatment for Faith. Nick and Julie also have a little boy, Ace, who is 8 years old.
With the help of sponsors and donations, we were able to make a few baskets to raffle.
We are asking for your help to make this a little easier for the young family. Funds will help with medical and travel expenses or anything Faith may need. Draw will take place on November 26th .
