Laxmikant ji, along with Pyarelal ji, blessed us with countless timeless compositions that have become an integral part of our lives.

LP's discography is nothing short of a musical treasure trove. Their supreme talent and dedication to their craft allowed them to reign supreme in the industry for a remarkable 35 years!

What set Laxmikant-Pyarelal apart was their deep understanding of what truly resonated with the common man ,the hearts of the masses.

L-P was a force to be reckoned with in every genre of film music. They excelled in classical melodies, foot-tapping folk rhythms, soul-stirring qawwalis, mesmerizing mujras, peppy western beats, soothing loris, devotional bhajans, and heart-wrenching ghazals. Their versatility knew no bounds!

From the ever-present dholak and tabla to the enchanting violin, guitar, bongo, and piano. They effortlessly weaved in the soul-stirring tunes of instruments like santoor and sitar. They even dabbled with the unique sounds of mandolin and many other Indian and Western instruments. Their melodies were a beautiful fusion of tradition and innovation. 🎻

LP's ability to create the perfect soundtrack for any successful film was truly remarkable.

He was an Indian actor, writer, director and producer known for his work in Hindi cinema, who is considered as one of the greatest and most successful actors in the history of Indian cinema. Through a career that spanned over six decades, he worked in more than 100 films. Anand is a recipient of four Filmfare Awards, including two for Best Actor. The Government of India honored him with Padma Bhushan, Indian third highest civilian honour in 2001 and with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002.

"I had been on assignment at a Detroit Montessori school for two days, and shot hundreds of photos. Some were very good, but I knew I hadn't gotten THE shot.
