Happy New Year folks! First of the month also means a new Unpopular mix and it is available to download from the blog and to stream from Mixcloud now. More old tracks than usual, but I hope you will agree that there is more than enough new material to be of interest. Links in comments.

Illustration is a lino cut of a winter hedgerow and corrugated iron hut that I cycle past in the Devon lanes on a regular basis.

NB: The Alpaca Sports track is not on the streaming mix or the download at the moment! I will update both once it has its official premiere in a week's time. It's a cracking tune though

It's Bandcamp Friday today (March 1st) so a good day for checking out the new Unpopular mix and then supporting the artists and labels you discover by going and buying their stuff. 42 may be the meaning of life, but it's also the number of tracks on the Unpopular mix for February which is available now for streaming or downloading. Usual mixture of old and new, much of it available via Bandcamp so if you hear anything you fancy you might want to buy it on Bandcamp Friday tomorrow (2nd Feb) and give the labels and artists a wee bit extra cash in their pockets.
