Event Information: The Soiree on State will include local artists and vendors, a free kid’s area with inflatables, face painting and a balloon artist, amazing food and drink vendors, and live music all afternoon! The Soiree on State will take place from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm along State Street, from Poplar Street to Railroad Street.

The Sam Edwards Jazz Trio will be performing in the Cayce Art Lot throughout the day. will kick things off at 3:00 pm and Cayce’s own, , will take the stage at 4:30 pm. The 2024 headlining band will be !

For the third year in a row, our MPA CEO, Ashley Hunter, has been nominated as the Best Consultant in Lexington County by the readers of The Lexington County Chronicle!

Ashley lives and owns two businesses in Lexington County: MPA Strategies and State & Frink! She serves as the Public Information Officer for local entities including the City of Cayce. As the former lobbyist and political consultant, Ashley is a certified Crisis Communications Manager and has a passion for seeing local governments, businesses, associations and organizations thrive. She is also the public relations and media consultant for Lexington County businesses like the award-winning Wingard's Market, the law firm of Moore Bradley Myers, and the Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School. Hunter also developed and helped lead the campaign at the South Carolina Bar!

She holds certifications in media relations and crisis management from FBI-LEEDA and FEMA. Ashley was named as one of America's Top 100 Woman to Watch, a South Carolina Woman of Influence, one of The State Newspaper’s Top 20 Under 40 and Small Business of the Quarter by the Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber & Visitors Program.

A lifelong Gamecocks fan 🤙🏻 and University of South Carolina graduate, Ashley has two daughters, Lillie and Cate, that attend Gray Collegiate Academy.

The July Art Feature of the Month at State & Frink is the work of wildly talented local photographer, Charles Hite Photographic Art! This photograph, named the Congaree River at Dawn, shares the serene beauty of the Congaree River that you can see just steps from our venue on the Cayce Riverwalk! We have several pieces in the gallery by Charles! He is a member of the Cayce Arts Guild and is passionate about promoting and sharing opportunities for local artists in our community!

Our event venue in the heart of the Cayce River Arts District and is filled with works of art from local artists! All art work has the contact information for the artist just under the artwork! What an honor it is to have a K32 ornament on one of the trees at State & Frink! 🖤💙

Earlier this year, Cayce Police officer, Drew Barr, was killed in the line of duty. Drew, whose End of Watch was April 24, 2022, and his K9 officer Molly, are standing in front of the American flag on the ornament.

We are thankful for the service and the sacrifice of all of our Cayce first responders. ♥️
