DJ Virus: Disc Jockey • Video DJ • Remixer
Born & raised by only his mother in Los Angeles, CA @ an early age Virus never really was into playing basketball, football or video games w/ his friends.. instead we would rather spend his free time on the computer downloading a huge selection of genres of music he liked listening to, buying/collecting different types of music, weather it was club/party music, rap/underground or just simple rock/alternative music. He then realized he had a passion for music. As Virus was growing up his passion for music was only growing, he then got introduced to a DJ set (2 turntables & a mixer) for his 1st time @ the age of 16 by one of his friend's older brother. Since then Virus quickly picked up the basics really quick. He then started buying records his own records & started jumping on the turntables @ high school house parties in the San Fernando Valley & was getting recognized for his talent by schoolmates & friends. He began DJing backyard boogies thrown by a variety of party crews which they would provide the DJ equipment & have about 4 DJ's playing a night. Virus then wanted his own equipment but he wanted top brand turntables only cause he knew that you get what you pay for & he wasn't gonna settle for less. He started saving up his money enough to buy some old school technics & a basic mixer, he sill wasn't satisfied w/ his equipment (TBC)
