It's a unique process to plan & make a dress for the girl in front of me & the little sister who will wear later when she is of age. I plan seam allowances, hemlines & store the lace remnants. I love sewing & seeing clients happy & satisfied is so worthwhile. weddingdress

Selecting lace and where to place it. Choosing sash color. Deciding sleeve & hem length. Planning hair & hairpiece. Finding shoes. All choices of self-expression mothers have their daughters make in this process. Making progress at the 2nd fitting. Almost done!

It's so special when family asks me to sew. We have a good plan for Abby's wedding gown to be worn by both daughters...Anna's first to make the decisions. In a few years, her little sister will be back to customize with me.

I made & donated this gown to Lakewood Catholic Academy's auction. Mom bid & won it but asked me to keep it until now. Only thing left to do is work on mom's wedding veil to fit this special occasion.
