Getting to know your vendors...top questions!

We have many relationships with different vendors and we have heard hundreds of questions from clients during their planning process.

So guess what, we have complied a list of FAQs and here's 3 questions we ask when touring a potential venue space ⬇️

1. We are sure to ask the venue coordinator if there's any type of music speaker or system including in the rental price. This can help the DJ give a more accurate price which is possible save our clients some money!

2. Also we ask about their alcohol policies! If our client is thinking of serving to their guests, we consider using the venues choice for bartending services since they are familiar with the rules for that space.

3. And finally, we check the parking lot!! Parking is a must here in Atlanta. Any venue that we chose for our clients, will definitely need to accommodate the guests parking. And we go for the FREE options first!

So as you can see, touring venues can be a real tough cookie if you don't ask or even know the questions to ask. But you can leave that to the Posh Team!!

The guest list will make or break your wedding...

It's very helpful to draft an initial guest list and then keep modifying the list.

We suggest sending out digital save the date cards up to 8 months prior to your wedding and link them to your wedding website.

This helps give you an idea of who's anticipating attending at that point.

During the next 90 days, you should be reviewing and modifying your list according to your responses.

Your guest list shouldn't be that challenging, but you must have an open mind when choosing who and who not to invite.

Securing your wedding venue...

Is the highest priority after saying "yes" to the ring!!

We always suggest to our couples that's it's best to visit 2-5 venues before making your final selection.

Please note 🗣 you shouldn't do this without a professional wedding planner!

Why? Here's 3 reasons why!

💜 Venues can be tricky. You want to ensure that you'll receive what you need vs what they are selling.

💜 Most venues offer a coordinator, yes, but that doesn't mean they will assist with your wedding day. Venue coordinators only assistant with the venue and it's setup mostly.

💜 Ballrooms at luxurious hotels require a food & beverage minimum and that can be confusing for most couples.This means they have a set amount you must spend for your guest's dinner. Yes, it can seem alot, but if utilized properly you'll receive the best idea dinner for your evening without the hassle or stress of wondering what you need to bring or do.

Our process begins with a Design Brainstorm meeting within 60-90 days of booking in which we explore your style, budget, and preferences and get to know your design personality.

During your design visit, you will then be presented with a Design Plan & Mock-up (which includes - color palette selections, rentals, florals and more), and a proposal for additional design services if applicable.

Once your design plan is approved, it will then be implemented.
