Moving the wedding indoors was Plan B for Chantal and Riley because of the scorcher outside!🥵. This draped structure was our solution to hiding the large cameras (the brides biggest concern about bringing it inside).

We think it added whimsy and garden vibes to their special day. Here’s to more indoor wedding in the HOT Summer months!🥂

Amen! Marriage can seem like a fairytale for many years until it doesn’t. Life gets hard, busy, complicated, all of the things. There have been seasons where it’s easy to get swallowed up by life’s circumstances….but I’m here to remind you to choose each other. Get that babysitter and take those dates. Go for a walk together. Plant a garden together. Put the screens away and look into each others eyes again. We’ve had to make those choices more often lately because this season of our parenting has been busier and just harder at times. I’m speaking to myself here…choose each other every day, give grace, pray together, and remember why you chose him/her. That fairytale, those sparks will return. 🥰🥰🥰

Amen! 🙌🏼 After 23 years of marriage you really know that is true. A moment of honesty here, Andy and I were pretty blissful for many many years and it seemed effortless. It’s really been in the last few years that this choice and intentionality really became a thing for us. Life just got hard and we’ve had to fight harder to carve out time for dates, prayer, and uninterrupted conversations. I can say with all humility that there have been rough patches…but I’m here to encourage you all that love & romance can still be had with some effort and grace for each other. Don’t become discouraged if marriage becomes more of a partnership/roommate situation. It happens…make that time, get a babysitter and take those dates. Choose each other daily…those sparks and love will return, it’s a choice.

! Has anyone researched much about grounding/earthing? It’s been my recent topic on the brain….
I honestly think that just like walking on grass is beneficial to your health. There must be a similar benefit to holding and working with flowers. I’m just getting into my wedding season and I’m realizing that I was truly missing something. I’m thinking it was just the holding and working with the flowers, their stems, petals, etc.
