Hamby Activity Center Community! If you didn’t know, Abilene has a Roller Derby team and they have been using the HAC gym to practice for years now! As a thank you, they are going to have 6 tickets up for grabs at will call this Saturday, July 27th. The tickets are first come first serve but they would love y’all’s support!

What: Hamby Pumpkin Fest and Fish Fry

We are so excited to announce that this year ALL pumpkin fest activities will be FREE of charge!!! So bring your kiddos and come enjoy a fun filled evening!

Fish fry plate prices will be $10 for adults and $5 for a child’s plate! To-go plates will be available.

In order to help offset costs, we are asking for donations for candy and prizes for the games! Any donations can be delivered to 235 CR 504! A drop box will be outside! We are also working on an Amazon wishlist if you would prefer to wait and order off of that!

Alright everyone, it’s that time of year!

With the AC being out in the building we are going to combine the fish fry with the pumpkin fest in hopes that the weather will be much cooler by then! Set up and times will be the same as normal just a different date. Stay tuned for more information and if you are interested in volunteering for a time slot or would like to donate something that is needed, please contact us through messenger! We would greatly appreciate the communities help ❤️

On behalf of the Hamby Activity Center, we would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who made our first annual Crawfish Boil a success. From the volunteers to our customers, it would not have been possible without each of you!

We want to continue creating events that bring our community together and support our local businesses in the process!

Kendee’s Kreations thank you for donating the beautiful and delicious looking raffle items! They were a huge hit and I heard they were absolutely delicious!! 

West Texas Mobile Wash thank you for your hard work and dedication to getting the insulation down and making the gym look SO much better!!

Hamby Homemade thank you so much for donating your delicious desserts for the dessert table! They are always so yummy!

Watergrave thank you for putting on a great show and playing music that everyone enjoys! I heard many great things about y’all as I was making my rounds!

If you have any pictures from Saturday that you would like to share, we would love to see them! We were so caught up in the fun of things, we slacked on taking pictures! Also, if you have any suggestions, comments, or ideas, we would love to hear them!

We are 4 days away from the first annual Hamby Crawfish Boil and Corn Hole Tournament! Food starts cooking at 6, Watergrave goes on at 6:30, corn hole registration from 6-7 and the bags start flying at 7:30! You won’t want to miss this awesome event.

All proceeds from this event will help make repairs to the Hamby Activity Center!

On behalf of the Hamby Activity Center, we want to say thank you to everyone who helped make the Hamby Pumpkin Fest such a huge success this year! Without the help of our awesome volunteers we would not have been able to make it possible! Also, a huge thank you to everyone that came out! We hope you had as much fun as we did and we can’t wait for next year!

Hamby Pumpkin Fest is happening this Saturday (10/30)!! We are so excited to see everyone and are hoping for a great turnout! We just wanted to make a post reminding everyone and also letting you know a few other things!

•Admission is free for the pumpkin fest, however to participate in the activities you will need to purchase tickets.
•Tickets are 2 for $1.00
•Hamby Volunteer Fire Department will have a fire truck set up during the pumpkin fest
•Hamby’s own Rockin’ C’s Mobile Grub Hub Food Truck (Menu attached below) Cash/Card accepted.
•All proceeds to this event will goes towards renovations/ updates to the building.
•We accept cash/card/check

•During the pumpkin fest, there will be a trunk or treat outside the front of the school. This event is completely free!
-We would love for anyone interested in setting up a spot for the trunk or treat to please do so! No need to sign up, just show up with your candy! 😊

We are working hard to make things as fun for the kiddos as we can, and we can’t do it without each of you!
With that being said, we are still needing 2 more volunteers to work the 6-7 time slot, if interested please let myself or Lauren Halbert know!
Also, for each time slot that you volunteer for, your name will be entered into a hat for a chance to win one of five $10 gift cards!
