Alice & Mae Bridal launched on Etsy in early 2015, offering a small collection of vintage jewelry and hair adornments. In less than a year, Alice & Mae has become an online destination for handmade and bespoke bridal veils, hair adornments, sashes, wedding dress cover ups, and other custom pieces. Our pieces may also be modified to fulfill the bride's vision for her wedding day look. Just as Alic

e Mae {the brand's namesake} would require, we strive for perfection in craftsmanship, customer needs, and only use exquisite materials to create the handmade accessories that our shop offers. Our high quality materials include french laces, silk ribbons, freshwater pearls, fine crystals, and the softest tulles. Every piece is meticulously curated and handmade upon order to each bride's specifications by owner and designer, Alyssa, in her Nashville design studio.

Artful, Captivating Details from Ashley’s Bridal Look——
Her custom Alice + Mae veil featured hand-painted, abstract floral artwork originally drawn by the groom. The same artwork was also incorporated into the couple’s invitation suite.

Ashley paired her unique & modern veil with an equally stunning Eva Lendel gown and simple, pearl earrings for a bridal look that was sentimental x impactful x discerningly elevated.

All Alice + Mae pieces are designed and handmade with careful consideration and intent and when taken care of, they will last you a long time. Keep these tips in mind when you receive yours——

The sculptural flowers we utilize in our headpieces are handcrafted from clay by an incredible Ukrainian artisan and are very delicate. Be mindful to not tug on or crush them.

Alice + Mae headpieces are made with raw brass and surgical steel wire with silver or gold plating. Overtime, they can darken or patina, giving the effect of vintage, heirloom jewelry. To clean and prevent tarnishing of your piece, we recommend gently using jewelry polishing cloths.

As best you can, avoid getting hairsprays and other styling products directly on your headpiece, as they can be corrosive and negatively affect certain materials (such as plating). We recommend styling your hair as much as possible before adding your headpiece.

The safest way to store your piece is wrapped in the tissue and kept in the box it came packaged in. Avoid placing it anywhere where it may be exposed to increased humidity or excessive heat.

Thoughtfully named after Alyssa's grandmother who inspired her career path in design, Alice & Mae Bridal launched in early 2015. We offer handmade and bespoke bridal veils, hair adornments, sashes, wedding dress cover ups, and other custom pieces. Our desire is to ensure each bride is equally as inspired by her accessories as she is her dress.

Incorporating the finest materials such as french laces, silk ribbons, freshwater pearls, fine crystals, and the softest tulles. Every piece is meticulously curated and handmade upon order to each bride's specifications in our Nashville design studio. Our pieces are of heirloom quality and may be passed down and worn by generations to come.

For brides located in and around Nashville, we offer in-person consultations and design meetings upon request. We are also happy to offer our design services to brides worldwide through online communication.
