Hi,
A quick update for the coming week: there will be a class on Tuesday at The Players Sports Bar, Mar Menor Golf resort. We are loving the welcome by the owners and staff, and the relaxed atmosphere. It usually opens at 16.00 but if we start a bit late, I can guarantee the session will last 2 hours. We have visiting UK based dancers coming along, and that is always lovely.
On Wednesday morning, I will be at Reflections Restaurant and Bar, San Luis, Torrevieja from 10.30 till 12.30. Again, we are made to feel very welcome, (and the cheesecake is to die for!)

Good morning. I hope you are all well. The effects of the last week's floods, so close to home, have left us feeling shocked and saddened, as well as grateful for our friendships.
I am also reading about UK dance classes closing due to falling numbers. I really hope we can keep Modern Jive alive here, and your support will be critical.
Classes this week are on Tuesday at The Players Sports Bar on the Boulevard, Mar Menor Golf Resort. The bar opens at 1600 and we usually get started at 16.15. The class lasts 2 hours.
On Wednesday, I will be at Reflections Bar, San Luis from 10.30 till 12.30. There was no class last week for various reasons, so come along this week if you can.

Good morning.
A bit of an update mainly for dancers who come to the Mar Menor class on Tuesdays. Because of circumstances regarding ownership that are beyond my control, we will be at The Players Sports Bar this Tuesday, October 22nd from 1600 till 1800. I have attached a link for the venue.

Wednesday I will be at Reflections bar, San Luis from 10.30 till 12.30 .I am so enjoying getting new dancers started on their dance journey and meeting more experienced dancers too.

Good morning.
Just a quick reminder of classes this week:

Tomorrow, Monday October 7th - Class from 20.00 till 22.00 at the Madhouse, Calle Republica Dominicana, Orihuela. Great venue, great people - we just need a few more to make this class viable in the longer term. Come and give it a try
Tuesday - Rewind Bar, The Boulevard, Mar Menor Golf resort from 16.00 till 18.00.
Wednesday - Reflections Bar, San Luis, from 10.30 till 12.30 - we have a nice little group of very keen and enthusiastic dancers, and will be continuing this class on a weekly basis.
We do need a few more men - come on guys, you will be welcome.
If any of you are interested in watching me participate in the Los Montesinos Carrozas parade, I will be dancing with Footwork dance group. It starts at 17.30 Wednesday evening. Maybe see you there

Good evening. Here is information about classes this coming week.
Monday evening September 23rd, we will be at The Madhouse, C. República Dominicana, 03189 Orihuela, Alicante. This is a great venue, and it would be fantastic to have modern jive there. Please arrive at 19.45 in order to start at 20.00. We will finish at 22.00.
Tuesday is at the Rewind Bar, on the Boulevard at Mar Menor Golf resort from 1600 till 1800. Under normal circumstances, we
wouldn´t start till mid or late October, but got offered the use of this super venue.
Wednesday: Reflections Bar and Restaurant, Calle Aviles, San Luis from 10.30 till 12.30.

Come along and give it a try; dancers, please share this post and spread the word.

Here are details of classes that will be starting on the terrace of this colourful, interesting and cheerful place in early October.
It would be lovely to welcome new, and returning dancers.

Good afternoon. It seems a very long time ago that we danced together! I have certainly missed it. I hope you have had a great summer and that your batteries are recharged.
I have just published details of 2 new venues where I will be holding classes on a 3 week trial period.
More news to come, so please be patient.
Have a look at the events section, and please spread the word. It would make me very happy to welcome returning and new dancers, whatever their level.

Hi, dancers. Classes are now suspended till after the heat of summer; in La Marina, a week earlier than originally planned. It was really hot last Tuesday, and we were struggling.
Thank you for being amazing, supportive, and fun to teach.
Classes in the Mar Menor will restart mid September - I will let you know definite dates nearer the time. As for my area, there are going to be a few exciting changes and developments, so watch this space.

Here is a snippet of last week´s class. Brilliant fun. I hope our new dancers come back tomorrow, April 30th at 19.00 and learn a few more moves. There is no class next week as the venue hosts a monthly quiz, but back the following week when I think we have visiting UK dancers. Hope to see you tomorrow Mary

I am looking forward to teaching and dancing with you on Monday April 22nd from 1400 onwards. We will have some visiting UK based dancers with us which is always special. I have attached a video of a routine we did recently - if you like some or all of it, I can share it with you. This Monday I will be at Rock and Eat, Mar Menor Golf from 14.00 till 16.00 and La Marina sports complex Tuesday from 19.30 till 22.00 Please note that there will be no classes on Monday December 4th or Tuesday 5th. But I will be back on Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th for pre-Christmas classes and fun Keep dancing Mary
