I’m obsessed with how the @vintage.origami.weddings custom designed backdrop turned out as a surprise feature for our beautiful couple who said that poetry and love letters were representitive of their relationship. I just adored them. Thankful to the amazing @tohaveandtoholddesign team who were the hand calligraphers to my @gingercreative envelopes, @canadapostagram who supplied the gorgeous royalty stamps and my team of 4 assistants who so delicately wax sealed the envelopes and applied the pretty stamps with me to ensure this backdrop was just perfect to display the @sugarsweetcakeco cake with @crocusfloraldesign @heatherlyphoto @jennymckinneymua @beanienunes @djjohnbyrne @gingercreative @eldoradokelowna #vintageorigamistyling

“Dear Jesus, make me a morning person.....” We set up in the dark the night ahead with the outstanding @crocusfloraldesign & @alloccasionspartyandevent crew and then arrived before the birds were even up chirping...I have one standard rule on my team when we are up before 6am for setup. No smiling, no peppy conversation and definitely no talking out loud excitedly about how you love mornings and you’re a morning person. Well, I suppose it was worth it being up so early for this dreamy @summerhillwine East Indian wedding ceremony we created for the lovely couple..but....still...the only person I want to talk to is the drive through lady at Starbucks this early. "DONUT ever let me go..." My husband's condition for building the donut wall was I better bring it home with one left on it. So I hung one really, realllyy high. I am shy believe it or not so it took a lot for me to slip back to the venue when the day of coordinator and venue managers texted and said, 'Yuriko, you must come back..the bride demands to hug you and thank you in person!' So so touched by this couple and the reaction of all her bridesmaids ....PS I'm proudly telling the one bridesmaid I'm a Saskatchewan girl and that's her awesome reaction 😂
