Rounding off our early 2022 run of four weddings in seven days was a beautiful celebration of love for the lovely Ryan and Katie!

Certainly a new favourite venue of ours, Acacia Ridge Vineyard Yarra Valley provided a stunning backdrop for the day - with a gorgeous afternoon ceremony held amongst the vines and a semi-outdoor twilight reception in their beautiful clear marquee. Always an absolute joy and pleasure also working alongside our good friends over at Instant Crush, with Michael and Zac on photography duties!

The third wedding from our busiest week to date earlier this year was an extremely special and memorable one for us - with close friends of the For You team Lauren and Anthony tying the knot (as well as having our co-founder Marc Verna on groomsman duties).

Returning for a second time to one of our favourite Yarra Valley venues Immerse, the entire day was filled with nothing but love - with an outdoor afternoon ceremony in the estate grounds followed by some fun surprises (including puppies and magicians to name a few) continuing into a beautiful reception to cap off the most beautiful day.

Next up from our back-to-back week of weddings earlier this year was one we were eagerly awaiting to shoot for some time!

After having crossed paths with Miryam and James at a number of weddings we've filmed over the years, it was such a joy and a privilege to finally be a part of their big day - especially following a rescheduling from their original planned date last year due to restrictions at the time.

A traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony at the beautiful St Eustathios Church in South Melbourne was followed by an incredibly fun evening reception at The River Room in Crown Melbourne - full of joy and celebrations for such a wonderful couple!

Thank you to Miryam and James for trusting us to capture your wedding - we had the best time and couldn't have asked for a more special couple to work with.

During our biggest week yet to date (with 4 weddings across 7 days), we had the pleasure of covering the beautiful wedding of Robert and Cindy - the most wonderful couple and great friends of the For You team!

The day began bright and early with tea ceremonies, firecrackers and gifts at both houses leading into a lovely intimate home wedding ceremony - with the bride and groom in traditional attire surrounded by their closest family and friends.

One brief outfit change later and with a quick detour to the city for an afternoon photo session, the festivities continued long into the night at San Remo Ballroom - with one of the biggest, wildest and most enjoyable wedding receptions we've been to! Featuring lion dancing, confetti, champagne glass towers (and some great trance/hardstyle tunes) it was certainly a night to remember.

Getting to shoot for the entire day alongside our good mate Weddings by Vinh made a great day even better!

No better way to start off the 2022 wedding season than capturing the wedding of a rad couple in one of Melbourne's coolest and most unique wedding venues!

Although the unforeseen events of 2021 meant that Adel + Jan's original wedding date had to be rescheduled and their venue had to be changed, it arguably all worked out for the better with both their ceremony and reception held in the surrounds of the Melbourne Zoo - definitely one of the most memorable wedding days that we've had the joy of being a part of!

A late afternoon ceremony in the Japanese Garden led into a celebration of their love in the Rainforest Room - with plenty of fun moments during the photo session in between (including a private carousel ride and getting up close with the animal enclosures!)

Back on board alongside us on photo duties was the legend Connor Vaughan Weddings - great friend of ours, supremely talented photographer and just an all-round good bloke.

This particular wedding was extra-special for us, created for an extra-special couple dear to our hearts. Luke and Ana-Maria's wedding was one that we'll definitely remember for years to come. A little bit of a change of roles on this one too - with our co-founder Marc Verna in front of the lens for once as part of the bridal party!

Although it was delayed for a year thanks to COVID-19, the long wait was all but forgotten once the day rolled around. Perfect weather and the breathtaking surrounds of the Yarra Valley provided a beautiful backdrop at Immerse - with an intimate afternoon ceremony followed by a stunning sunset (perfect for photos) capped off with a cracker of a reception later that night.

It was an absolute pleasure working alongside a bunch of awesome wedding suppliers and vendors on the day too - Rick Liston behind the camera on photo duties, not to mention the lovely Love Leah - Marriage Celebrant and Aaron Jay Camilleri as the celebrant and DJ/MC respectively.

We couldn't be happier to be back shooting weddings again in 2021 - especially so when they're as fun as Dimitri and Samantha's special day (and also when we get to work alongside our good friend Connor from Connor Vaughan Weddings again!)

Held in the picturesque grounds of Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill, an intimate afternoon ceremony outdoors in the vineyards led into a wonderful evening of lively celebrations (with plenty of partying and Greek dancing) at their reception.

Thank you to Dimitri and Samantha for giving us the privilege of covering your wedding - we had a blast 🥳

It's such an incredible feeling to finally shoot weddings again in 2021, especially after all the challenges that Covid brought us in 2020 - not only to small businesses such as ourselves, but also to our beautiful couples who were unable to proceed with their wedding plans.

It brought us so much joy being able to be a part of Sarah + Matthew's wedding day - our first wedding back in almost 11 months, and one that was even more special for us to return on as it was heartbreakingly postponed less than 48 hours prior to the original date in March 2020 (due to restrictions coming into effect).

Melbourne put on an absolutely stunning day earlier this year in late January - the perfect backdrop for an extra-special wedding that began with a ceremony at St Mary's Catholic Church and ended with a beautiful reception at White Night Receptions, with plenty of photo opportunities in between at gorgeous locations across the CBD.

We had the pleasure of working alongside the phenomenal creative team at Dezine by Mauro Wedding Photography Melbourne for the day, and look forward to hopefully teaming up again with them in the future!
