Limelight Magazine/JKB Entertainment Group October 2006 - Limelight Magazine was founded. January 2011 - JKB Entertainment Group was founded.

Founded on October 13, 2006, Limelight Magazine was originally a quarterly, print publication devoted to rock music and the local music scene of New England. After issuing its final print issue in the summer of 2013, Limelight Magazine shifted its operations entirely online and expanded its editorial content to include coverage of movies, television, filming locations, and pop culture in the Unite

In late 2017, Limelight Magazine developed a strategic plan for the future and decided to scale back its coverage of the local music scene, while increasing its coverage in other content areas. Limelight Magazine is also the promotional arm of JKB Entertainment Group. These events include concerts with national touring musicians, comedians, film screenings and even psychics.

TWO WEEKS AWAY - Vanilla Fudge will perform at the Narrows Center in Fall River, MA, on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, as Limelight Magazine's 18th Anniversary concert. The band still features original members Mark Stein (vocals, organ), Vinnie Martell (guitar) and Carmine Appice (drums) with Pete Bremy (bass). This will likely be the last time the band tours this market. Tickets are available through the venue's website or in person at their box office.

The Purr-fect time for giving! With the season of giving right around the corner, we’d like to do something for the Humane Society & Shelter of Dartmouth, MA. Since the animal shelter is constantly receiving a huge influx of kittens/cats, they are in great need of litter and cat food, particularly kitten food. They go through a ton of food and litter daily and are in need of donations. Throughout the whole month of November, The Vault of New Bedford, MA, in partnership with JKB Entertainment Group/Limelight Magazine will be accepting donations of cat foot and litter for this shelter. Boxes are set up at the entrance inside The Vault where you can drop off your donation at any show or during pub side hours. Please feel free to bring any cat litter or cat/kitten food to help support these no kill shelters that do their best to help our little fur babies out! We appreciate any and all donations.
