Flower Fanatic offers artistic, flower creations that will have a lasting effect while delighting your eyes and sweetening your spirit. Flower Fanatic is about embracing creativity while supporting the hands and heart of those that work for us. We provide opportunities to women who have been victims of human trafficking and also those who have served time in prison. We want to be part of their NEW
beginning and it also give us an opportunity to exercise social responsibility in our community. Flower Fanatic was started by Maria Peralta and it operates in selected areas of Miami-Dade County.
This is the result of when your daughter turns 12 and tells you she wants a Boho inspired Birthday Theme. I am here for it gladly to execute the cutest set up with our inventory and our talented friends from with their beautiful ballon arch and backdrop. Today is my birthday. I am turning 41 and I have this sensation of being whole.
For a while now I have been on a journey to inject energy and life to my soul. It is working.
It all started with a Vision board where I was very candid about the immediate needs that I needed to work on to bring me back to ME.
Things that have kept me in line to not loose focus is:
1. You cannot ask people for what they don’t have and you can’t be the supplier of that extra work. Carry on.
2. Focus and commit to one thing at a time. Multitasking sooner or later it leaves you depleted l.
3. Raise your children to be resourceful and capable of naming their emotions so they know what triggers them and how to overcome.
- Your partner should help you build the life that you want, not destroy it.
- Celebrate your birthday as it was the last one you have.
So My dear Flower Fanatics, today I take it all in. All the blessings, all the love and the energy my loved one are sending from near and far.
I am GRATEFUL.

Baby’s Breath is not my favorite variety for fillers as I consider that we have been gifted an enormous amount of heaven like textures. However, I think baby’s breath is ideal larger structures with a light airy vibe.

I say sometimes because intricate designs require elaborate plans, countless hours of ex*****on and always bring unexpected challenge that force us to grow and get out of our comfort zone.

Flowers can definitely be show stoppers yet adding beautiful accents to your tablescape will only elevate your event.
This image is the perfect example.
Advice to get her this look:
1. Hire The Event Stylist] as your stylist 😉
2. If she isn’t available then ask to upgrade your linen to add color or texture.
3. Glassware is an easy way to tie in the look you are going for. The variety in colors and styles is exciting.
4. Furniture, stationery ,chargers are among those at the top of my list to make your special celebration be a memorable one.

This is not a Publix Cake but lately I have been listening to previous brides on talk about things that they would do different on their wedding date.
Many talk about avoiding acrylic frames because they don’t photograph well. Others say that they would pay for a hair and make up session prior to their big day ( surprised that some think this should be optional). Others talk about spending $$$ on a wedding cake and how they wouldn’t do that again.
This is my take: If you have the budget to have a wedding cake design for you that tastes like heaven and it looks like heaven, why not? Just make sure you have a piece. Now, I am a dessert enthusiast so I would have a dessert table with our favorites with some popular options for our guest to enjoy.
With Publix you can definitely have a cost effective cake that can look good and taste good.Just make sure that the accessories you select ELEVATE the look.
- Avoid Toppers with glitter.
- Personalize your cake cutting set
- Select a beautiful cake stand
- Add signature flowers to tie it to your floral decor.
- Upgrade your linen or add a Cake table that make a statement.

Often I help navigate my couples in deciding what REALLY speaks to their soul. I encourage them to pay attention to what really is important to them and not compare their special day to anyone else’s.
Most of our couples give me creative freedom and usually those designs come out to be the one’s that I am the proudest.
Advice for those starting the planning process process.
In my eyes, flowers are a luxury and we offer the most incredible varieties to each of our creations. You don’t need flowers to get married so if you decide to have them, here are some tips:
1. Research local floral designers and write up 3 things that captured your eye about their work.
2. Call them and ask if they have minimum or not. That will help you filter out those that don’t mirror your budget. ALERT: unless you are having an intimate 10 guest dinner at your residence, please if you are getting married in South FL or the West Coast consider allocating $5k as a minimum to have most of your needs covered if you have 50-75 guest ). Now having the “wants” it’s another story. This is based on my own experience. Our minimum at Flower Fanatic is $7K for 2022 and having a minimum has allowed everyone that contacts us to know what their investment commitment is in our first interaction.
3. Choose a venue that doesn’t require a transformation to make it your special space. Select venues that have charm, architectural details worth photographing so the floral design can enhance the spaces.
4. If your ceremony is ocean front, outdoors or at the Rooftop prepare to pay more for ALL the extra work that requires preparing to deal with Mother Nature. Wind and Rain are NEVER your allies so prepare to protect your investment by having tents pre-ordered or having your florist bring a bigger team to make any movements seem effortless and not delay your timeline.

I always study my color palettes and research different combinations of colors and textures. Also I am mindful of curating designs that minimize waste. For example, you will always see me advocate for lower style options as guest can take them home abs enjoy for the following days. Also they are easier to repurpose if our clients want to donate them.
When I design, I must share that the inspiration to get to warm fussy feeling in my stomach is definitely after I ask God to lead my hands.
Yes, every design has my client in mind but God makes it happen for me time and time again. HE is my Inspiration.
