From a young age I studied acting skills at Preston playhouse and was also involved in a theatre production with certain curtain theatre company called waiting for chloe when I was 11 years old. I studied and taught dance at Dancers school from the age of 5 till 18 in Preston in ballroom, salsa, Latin American and Street dance and have had some modelling experience throughout my teenage years. Once leaving school I decided to start work behind the camera and have gained qualifications in Hairdressing Nvq's 1 and 2, Beauty therapy Nvq's 1 and 2 and an Nvq 3 Diploma in Hair and media make up in fashion, bridal, camouflage, theatrical and special effects. I've worked with Step into the story theatre production company being the Hair and make up artist in Alice in wonderland, a zombie apocalypse, Christmas winter wonderland and frozen productions which I enjoyed thoroughly and have worked with Tim Marner branding agency in Bolton and Manchester on many advertising photoshoots. Going freelance I have been Hair and make up artist for many weddings which is one of my favourite parts of my work being involved in helping to make a couples special day bring their dreams into reality and sharing such a momentous day with my clients. I've been the make up artist on 'Blitz in the bitz' film produced and starring grime musician Faceless in which I also acted as Chloe's mother and I've been the Hair and makeup artist in the talented Singer songwriter Sarah Angel's music video 'Work Honey' in which I also starred acting. Recently I launched my own company Hmua Ltd - Art in Progress creative agency, cosmetics and lash line which specialises in fashion, events and media production. Im also the Head of make up department for Liverpool and Manchester fashion week and work closely with Amanda Moss owner of Lifestyle magazine. My unique journey in the industries has blessed me with an amazing network of talented creatives and what I love most about my work is every day is another challenge, something different which with having a creative mindset always keeps things fresh, exciting and motivating and I look forward to seeing what the future holds within my career.
