Mix-teko Sound
I will tell you my story of how it all began: when I was little I used to listen to Sonidos like Condor, Candela, La Changa, etc. that were famous in Mexico at the time. Then as a teenager I worked in a band loading and installing the sound equipment (I remember that I was the one who worked the lights at that time there was no DMX), but when I came here, being a teenager, around 15 years old, I always had in mind having my own sound system. However, around 2009 MIX-TEKO SOUND was born with different names, and a couple of months later I switched to MIX-TEKO SOUND ("MIX" for MIXING and "TEKO" for Mixtec). My first concert was a Quinceañera in Anderson California, and from there I tried to be the best I can. I have been playing music for birthdays, Sweet sixteen, weddings, etc., I always had learned and improved my lighting and sound system. (Everything that I have learn, I learned by myself, in other words, nobody taught me)
Les contaré mi historia de cómo comenzó todo: cuando era pequeño solía escuchar Sonidos como Cóndor, Candela, La Changa, etc. que eran famosos en México en ese momento. Luego siendo un adolescente trabajé en una banda cargando e instalando el equipo de sonido (recuerdo que yo era el que trabajaba las luces, en ese momento no había DMX), pero cuando vine aquí, siendo adolescente, alrededor de 15 años, siempre tuve en mente tener mi propio sistema de sonido. Sin embargo, alrededor de 2009, MIX-TEKO SOUND nació con diferentes nombres, y un par de meses más tarde cambié a MIX-TEKO SOUND ("MIX" por MIXING y "TEKO" por Mixteco). Mi primer concierto fue una Quinceañera en Anderson California, y desde allí traté de ser lo mejor que puedo. He estado tocando música para cumpleaños, Quinceañeras, bodas, etc., siempre he aprendido y mejorado mi sistema de iluminación y sonido. (Todo lo que he aprendido, lo aprendí por mí mismo, en otra palabras nadie me enseñó)
