Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°. Place pork loin/bacon green beans uncovered on the lower rack of your oven. Bake for 1 hour, stir green beans, and begin checking the internal temperature of the pork loin. Pork loin is finished cooking when registering 145° in the center of the loin. Enjoy!

💙🧡 We had the most beautiful celebration for Dan. You all have poured so much love into our family after learning of my brother’s passing. I even got to hug some clients-turned-friends at tonight’s celebration! Thank you for the patience, kindness, and well-wishes through this tough time.

I must give a big thank-you to Clayton’s Rail/The Alley at Clayton's Rail for gifting us such a wonderful spot to gather. I obviously attend a lot of events to setup catering, but have never planned and executed an event of my own like this.

We wanted Dan’s celebration to have a heavy emphasis on “celebration” — and The Rail was the perfect spot to harness that atmosphere. Scott & Lois were so generous, Miranda was wonderful to plan with, and Sarah kept the drinks and vibes going.

Dan would have loved that party 🤍

Can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of support after learning of my brother’s passing.

Here to give a heads up that Dan’s wife and two children will be traveling to Illinois for his services *next* week. For this reason, Nan’s will not offer Take & Bakes or breakfast specials at Alpine the week of August 12th. All pre-booked events will continue as scheduled.

Please continue to keep my brother’s family in your thoughts along with our mother, Barbie, the pillar of Nan’s, who has just lost her oldest child.

A note to my favorite foodies:

One of my favorite parts of catering has been the honor to be a part of my client’s biggest moments. From welcoming life into the world at baby showers to celebrating life at its end, I’m there for it all. It’s for this reason I want to share with you all that my oldest brother, Dan, has unexpectedly passed away.

My family is still in deep shock but for now, it’s been nice to stay busy. I have wedding appetizers to setup tonight and just know Dan would have been the first person to “share” that post. He was always so proud of my business.

I kindly ask that you redirect any wishes of strength, comfort, or prayers to my niece, nephew, and sister-in-law, Charis, as they navigate this unbelievably tough time of grief. Hug your loved ones for me 🤍
