We are thrilled to share that our Director, Andrzej Buczek, was honored by New York City Mayor Eric Adams at the inaugural Polish Heritage Breakfast at Gracie Mansion! He was recognized for his leadership of the Polish American Folk Dance Company and his dedication to promoting Polish culture throughout New York City.

Last Saturday, our new members had a great time at our Hair & Makeup Workshop! We covered everything from properly wearing costumes and headpieces to mastering makeup techniques, all to help everyone look their absolute best on stage!

Nasze tancerki wystąpiły w Carnegie Hall podczas Sounds of Heritage: From Paris to Zakopane – koncertu galowego poświęconemu Władysławowi Zamoyskiemu. Wykonały utwory z Skalnego Podhala.

Our dancers performed at Carnegie Hall's Sounds of Heritage: From Paris to Zakopane, a gala concert dedicated to Władysław Zamoyski. They performed songs from Skalne Podhale.

On Saturday, October 26th, the children, juniors and adult groups of the Polish American Folk Dance Company performed at the Ridgewood Seneca Stroll.

Rozpoczął się sezon występów. 7 września mieliśmy okazje zatańczyć na festiwalu w Polskiej Częstochowej w Pennsylwania.

Our season of shows has begun. We had our first show on September 7th at the Polish festival at the Shrine of our Lady of Częstochowa in Pennsylvania.

Last week, PAFDC was invited to lead dance workshops at the Frost Chopin Academy and Festival at the University of Miami. The festival, directed by International Chopin Competition laureate Kevin Kenner, attracted the most promising young pianists from around the world to learn more about Fryderyk Chopin’s music. During the workshop, participants learned about the national dances of Poland and how folk music inspired the great composer. A highlight of the evening was a Polonaise for over 40 couples!
