--Contribute to a collective visual art peice celebrating new traveller culture--
Me (Beth) and Albi Knight are running a lovely art space next weekend in Bristol. Supporting 'Travelling Tunes' at the trinity centre. An exploration of voice, poetry and song of roadside dwellers and new travellers (Will be lovely you should come)!
Im looking to gather images and stories of new traveller culture in the UK, from any point, if you are willing to share for an art workshop exploring, the movement, memories, the people, the stories. Contribute to a collective art peice celebrating this culture.
Do you or anyone you know have some photography they would be happy to be used in this collective peice? Maybe would be willing to donate a story or two? Its about sharing stories, images, people and memories that make up this culture that brought us all up xx
All images of course require general consent of the people in them, and will not be reposted. They will be used to create a collective art peice not to repost anywhere.

Who we are
Next Gen Sound are a UK based production collective, our crew consists of a variety of people with different background revolving around festivals and live events. From new age travelers to free party organizers all have been shown to a diverse range of festivals and events from an early age all over the UK and Europe.
Joining Us Will be the English collective Kontribe, holding to our ideals of stepping up the next generation into the festival world. Bringing out there custom Thunderidge, USB & Void Loaded Invader system to grace our area with Artists from all corners of the scene in tow. This group has been active recently in the UK free party scene, working hard to keep the original ideals of the community alive. Building from this they are fresh on the start of there first European tour and first stop is Freekuency!
We hope to bring a young audience that will be a new element into the Freekuency Festival giving it even more diversity!! We will provide an inclusive space for all young people to enjoy and be a part of the musical/Technical side of our generation and the ones to come, giving an area to thrive and develop their skills.
A variety of workshops will take place, these will range from stenciling to Aerial. The stencil graffiti workshop will offer access to technique to make a great design, those taking part in the designing, cutting out and the placing of the stencils also including freehand graffiti onto our made surfaces. We will be making the surface for the graffiti by stringing and wrapping cling film from two posts to make a quick and effective canvas.
We will be teaching aerial classes using equipment such as silks, loop and trapeze. Teachers can teach different skills levels based on age and previous experience making the workshop accessible to everyone who wants to get involved. Classes will be one hour long, twice a day.
The music over the weekend will be focused around the UK music scene and the wonders it's bringing to all genres it interprets. Multiple styles of Drum’n‘Bass, Jungle and Talented coastal Garage and bassline artists will make you cloud the air with dust though skanking.
Hip hop over the weekend is going to bringing in the high caliber high focus records with artists like Smellington Piff, Mr Key and Jam Baxter all based around the cultural hubs of Bristol and Brighton. Not only are the big dogs coming out to play we also have some incredible talented Lyricists that are new but fresh.
As part of the area we will be hand making a couple of large wooden activities. These will be simple but challenging, a fun activity kids can play but can also be enjoyed by the older festival goers.
Our bar will provide a variety of refreshments including chilled draught Portuguese lager, Cider, and a variety of spirits, mixers and soft drinks, something for everyone along with the sunniest, funniest bar staff on site!
