More excitement, more happiness, more joy in 2025 ✨️

Room reveals have become one of our favorite trends lately. There's so much work, planning, emails, and meetings that go into a wedding and creating the perfect design for each of our couples. 8/10 times our team has gone, with the room completely set and the candles all lit, before the newlyweds see the results of all their planning. It's such a joy to witness their reactions, and we'd love to see more of it this year!

Cheers to a new year 🥂 2025 we're ready for all that you have to offer!

This past year we've had so many amazing couples that embraced color and fun,unique design ideas that allowed us to play around. It's been a blast!! I can't thank you all enough for trusting us with your floral designs. Here's to more fun, exploration, color, celebration, and the ones we love in the new year❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated Amanda + Ramsome and their intimate backyard wedding in Virginia. It was a beautiful day all around, complete with an amazing seven course meal prepared by .blend, a gorgeous edible flower cake by , and edible flower ice made by the bride & groom.

Let's not forget the flower rings we designed for all the women, the hair clips for the mothers, and Amanda's FABULOUS floral shawl!! She even grew the Amaranthus herself!

We LOVE out of the box design ideas & are here to embrace every challenge!

Soft & Summery 🌸

Amy's bouquet was a beautiful balance of summer textures and soft petal filled blooms. Those local beauties include Lisianthus, Dahlia, Zinnia, Statice, Celosia, and Ammi.

Springtime wildflowers.

With the temperatures warming up, I want to reflect on the late spring and early summer blooms. Ranunculus are starting to dwindle, Peony are are at their prime—and summery textures such as Phlox, Astilbe, and Orlay are starting to flourish. It's a lovely time for seasonal flowers!

We spent the past weekend in Georgia celebrating Dana & Trent with some of our favorite people 🧡🤍🩷💛💖

It's always an experience traveling to bring our couple's vision to life, but I'm here for it. With each experience, I feel as though I learn so much and become a little bit closer to my chosen medium 🌸

Springtime Pastels ✨️ One of our favorites to design with.

Mikaela's bouquet was designed with 90% locally sourced blooms including peony, lace flower, tweedia, Snapdragon, Baptisia, and those magical poppies from a friend's home garden.

Sourcing flowers from the farms in our area and growing what we can have been extremely important to us at Layers of Lovely and our journey to become a more sustainable floral business. There's so much more we're trying out this year. It's not always easy, but what really is?

With our first snow melted, the birds are actively singing away, rooting through the soft earth to claim what nourishment they can find. It makes me excited for warmer days and exploring the outdoors.

Winter is a time to settle into moments of quiet and rest as the temperatures steadily drop. It's a time to be at peace with slower movement and to be comforted by the promise of springs warming temperatures, inevitably leading to the magical hues of autumn before we cycle back to the slower days of winter.

Lately, I've been dreaming about the garden and its cycles, itching to get started. Autunm has become my favorite season to design in with the gardens full of life and color.
