On Wednesday, Feb. 5th we are co-hosting a Progressive Indigenous Cuisine dinner with the Bill Reid Gallery, celebrating creativity in food, drink, and art.
Dinner is a thoughtfully curated four-course dinner by award-winning Enoch Cree Nation Chef Shane Chartrand, known for his innovative approach to cuisine, a best-selling cookbook, and his appearance on Top Chef Canada. The reception features cocktails from female and Indigenous owned Sharpe Distillery in Cawston, BC. Each course of dinner is paired with Indigenous owned Ravens Brewing and Nk’Mip Cellars.
A new gallery exhibition will have just opened featuring Master Haida Artist, Kihl ‘Yahda Christian of the Yahgulaanas Haida Raven Clan, which will be available for viewing during the reception. Tickets are on sale until Sunday. See the link in our bio for more information.
