Founder and coordinator of Words & Wine held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Lourie Center, 1650 Park Cir (behind Maxcy Gregg Park), Columbia, South Carolina 29201. Words & Wine is a monthly readers and writers social. It is free and open to the public. Enjoy wine and light refreshments, music by Ken Baldwin and Igo Agafonov, a presentation by a featured author, and a book signing. Books are available for purchase and personally autographed by the author.
Founder and coordinator of The Lunch Bunch that meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. The Lunch Bunch is a group with the goal to support a local restaurant each month, make new friends, and expand current friendships. The members believe our local restaurants in the Midlands need extra support and as the public, we are their best advertising resource. This is a social networking group. You don't have to be employed to be a member.
