Let’s Clear the Shelter! Tomorrow (Saturday, August 17), CCSPCA is participating in the annual nationwide campaign known as Clear the Shelters. We have once again partnered with Telemundo 51 Fresno, KSEE24 News, and CBS47 Fresno to try and find forever homes for as many animals as possible.
We encourage you to come to CCSPCA between 10 AM and 4 PM to participate in Clear the Shelter. All adopters will be eligible for an adoption fee price reduction ($10, $20, $30, or free) by spinning a wheel. Each adoption includes a special gift bag donated by Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a spay or neuter, Fresno city dog license (if applicable), vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella), single dose of dewormer for roundworms, single topical dose of flea/tick preventative, free vet exam from our participating veterinary clinics, and microchip (free registration with email address).
Our Education Department is also hosting an Open House during Clear the Shelters. There will be children’s activities and barn tours throughout the day, as well as information booths about our services and programs. Taquizas Magaña and Kona Ice of Fresno will also be selling food and refreshments during the event. Admission is FREE, but donations to animals are welcomed and encouraged. Visit
