Our Story

At FMZ Vintage Sounds we are proud to be able to bring the unmatched sounds of Istanbul Mehmet Cymbals & Turkish Cymbals to our Canadian musicians. The founder of our company, Michael Zildjan, had a long history of cymbal making knowledge and worked with Mr. Mehmet Tamdeger at the old factory, where his uncle Mikael Zilcan taught both of them the art of hand made cymbals. We invite drummers of all ages and ability to try our cymbals. We are certain you will find them melodic, live and vibrant.
