🐄 Top tips & teamwork for tackling Medicine Hub | 4 Feb

Are you a farm vet or member of a farm vet team wanting to play your part in building the evidence base for the responsible use of antibiotics in the ruminant sectors?

At this workshop, Fiona Lovatt, sheep vet and RCVS Knowledge Clinical Lead for Medicines, will lead sessions that will guide you on how to make small, but meaningful changes to the ways you collect data on antibiotics both within your practices and out on farm, as you engage with your farmer, shepherd and herdsmen clients.

⭐ We are happy to announce that the International Women’s Day event is returning to the Bath & West Showground for 2025 ⭐

You will have the opportunity to listen to and ask question of a group of inspirational women and men in business who will share their stories within the International Women’s Day 2025 theme of "Accelerate Action" 🙋‍♀️

This year the event will be hosted by Lucy Atherton, former BBC TV and ITV television and radio news correspondent.

Speaking at the event:
Jenny Fenton, The Royal Bath & West Society’s new Hon. Treasurer
Rebecca Pow, Former DEFRA minister and Council Member of the Royal Bath & West Society.
Nick Elston, An Inspirational Speaker and Founder of Forging People
Tamara Giltsoff, Strategy and innovation leader in the areas of Climate, Nature, and Innovative Finance and a trustee of Sustainable Food Somerset

Taking place on Friday 7th March from 9:30am - 12:30pm, the speakers will leave you with their ‘top tips’ to takeaway. Join us from 9:30am for breakfast pastries, fruit and tea and coffee and a chance to network. Presentations will begin at 10am, there will be a Q&A session, and we will finish at approx. 12.30pm.

WESTWORLDFEST 2-4 MAY 2025 - POSTPONED
Due to unforeseen circumstances, WestWorldFest, scheduled to take place from 2-4 May 2025 at Bath & West Showground has been postponed to Summer 2026
➡ STATEMENT FROM BATH & WEST EVENT MANAGEMENT
After careful consideration, the difficult decision has been made to postpone the inaugural WestWorldFest, due to be held in May 2025, until the Summer of 2026.
With the unpredictable nature of the British weather, it has become apparent that the potential impact to the ground condition of the Main Ring, which would house the main stage area for WestWorldFest, was not given sufficient consideration at the initial enquiry stages.
The ground conditions of the Main Ring are paramount to the delivery of the activities that take place within it, such as Show Jumping, at the Royal Bath & West Show; an event held annually by the Royal Bath & West of England Society, which takes place each year at the end of May.
Whilst we understand this news may be disappointing to fans, please rest assured that the teams at Bath and West and WestWorldFest are working together to ensure an even better experience in 2026. We would also like to express our thanks to the team at WestWorldFest, and the bands themselves, for their understanding and cooperation with this decision.

Having worked on this festival project for over a year, the Event Team are extremely disappointed to have to postpone WestWorldFest after so much hard work and with 2025 so close, but we understand the reasons given by Bath & West, given the potential damage that can happen to green field areas by Music Festivals
Dates for later in 2025 were considered but unfortunately too many WestWorldFest staff were already booked on a multitude of other festivals for the 2025 season so we will work with Bath & West over the coming months to relaunch WestWorldFest on dates after the Royal Bath & West Show for the Summer of 2026.
ABOUT TICKETS
A massive thank you to all of you who purchased tickets to the 2025 event and rest assured, all tickets purchased for the original dates will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Refunds (minus Booking fees) will be available for those unable to attend the rescheduled dates.
If your preferred option is a refund, please email [email protected] with your Booking Reference Number and the name of the Ticketing Company you purchased through and we will be in touch with you shortly to process your refund.
