My names Carly and I manage, coordinate and own Sassy Snaps Perth! I’m a mum of two young boys; Sam and Noah, and started this business is 2015 with my mum. I now run it by myself after my mum pursued a career in nursing and I followed the party bug while remaining a stay at home mum for now. My favourite are kids parties but I also love planning baby showers, engagements, hens, christenings and m

ore! (I haven’t worked my way up to weddings yet - sorry!)

Unless I’ve got a photographer available, most photos of our events you see are taken by me too. I wear a few hates and also love doing all the stationary for our events too! I work with the best industry vendors to bring your event to life. If you have a vendor whom you prefer just let me know and we can arrange! Each quote is tailor made to suit each one of my clients needs. Though I do offer some packages for anyone who wants a simple and easy transaction with my prices posted on my wall. A few months ago we had the pleasure of creating a backdrop for .getthers X Wellness Event: Step into HER Power 💪🧘‍♀️✨

They needed a main stage setup to draw focus to all their speakers and tie in with the colour concept for the event. We went with a pink and coral colour concept with a floral focus to keep it very feminine… and of course we had to go for some pink couches!

Big thanks to our favourite vendors for the beautiful floral arrangements, .boy for our decals and for the lounge set hire. Completed this look 👌 Sorry it took me a few months to finally share 🙈😝

A few months ago we had the pleasure of creating a backdrop for .getthers X Wellness Event: Step into HER Power 💪🧘‍♀️✨

Sorry for the long post delay ~ and for not sharing more of this gorgeous magic party from last month ~ such a crime! 😱

After an incredibly fulfilling and hectic October of events, we headed into November with a more flexible schedule and even a couple weekends off for me to enjoy some time with my family (so rare!). We approach December similarly with a few dates free for personal events but January kicks off with a bang and straight back into the hectic summer season.

I know it can be incredibly hard to look ahead to your Jan/Feb/March events this time of year when all you want to do is look towards Christmas and all the end of year parties you get to go to 😝 However I hate for you to miss out on your date because you didn’t book till later ~ please get in touch to secure your date for the new year now before they all book up! 🩷

Putting together a magical third birthday setting with this mix of iridescent and lilac paper partyware 🤩 I often get asked what type of partyware you can expect in our packages and honestly we keep it vague to allow us to be as creative as possible to your theme! For this one we created Crescent moon placemats, with fairy party hats, multi ribbon wrapped cutlery and iridescent paper cups. We mixed the paper plates with iridescent lunch plate and lilac cake plate to bring the colours in.

On the table we covered the tables with purple tablecloth and then draped a lilac table runner and scattered disco balls and disco mushrooms for a sparkly touch. And to keep the kids entertained we had some blank wooden wands with stick on gemstones for the kids to decorate their own fairy wands! They ended up being a pretty big hit!

We thought it a gorgeous mix of lilac and magic for this theme 😍💜✨ What are your thoughts? What would you have added/suggested to make this setting even more magical? 👇

Keeping my thirtieth low key but memorable 💚 I believe in celebrating the milestones! But celebrating doesn’t have to look the same for everyone! Some people might be incredibly social and have 100 friends that they want to throw a big party for and live it up! Some might prefer to enjoy an experience and instead go do a cruise or skydiving or something new but entirely for them to celebrate their way! Some people might be more introvert and just want a family dinner and absolutely no cake or singing 😅 Everyone celebrates differently but I believe in celebrating the moments regardless of the way you do it! Life is seriously so short and goes by so fast. 🩷

As a party planner I was absolutely thrilled to celebrate something low key with my family and not throw some big stressful hoo-hah. But the creative in me couldn’t be boring, so we spiced it up with a theme and some party comforts 😝 We had a weekend hotel getaway in the city, cocktails in the room, enjoyed a few dinners out, did a bottomless brunch, some karaoke and even had a splurge at a bookstore. All things that brought me lots of joy and little stress 🥰

Disco made me do it 🕺🪩 Maddison’s Last Disco before she’s hitched! 🥳 I loved the brief, the moodboard, the vision, the client, the space, the mock-up, the setup it all just came together so smoothly! And I LOVED how it turned out so so much! Even the florals were just chefs kiss perfection! I originally thought of disco vases but my girl was like let’s do this and she just came up with these beautiful disco arrangements that blew me away!! And the sun and wind hit those shimmer panels and disco balls just right for some beautiful shimmery photos 👌😍😍 Even the bar got its glam on!
