Exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that I have been appointed as the new Event Manager at Avante Banquet!

Hi! My name is Karen Swichtenberg and I’m a wife and mother of 3 grown children. I became a mother at a very young age, and I was always reinventing myself. I’ve been an entrepreneur ever since I can remember. I’ve been in the cosmetology industry for over 35 years. Attending beauty school while attending high school. I’ve always helped my customers by making them feel their best and look their best. During my career I developed a knack for updo’s and in the early 90’s I created my own wedding hair and makeup business, Beautiful Brides.
My passion for event planning came from my love for helping others. Now that my children are all grown, and I decided to take that passion and become certified in event planning. My magnetic personality, great negotiating skills and paying attention to small details, will be able to provide you with top notch vendors at the best possible rates. I’m always thinking outside the box and would love to make your event unique by adding those extra special touches of my creativity to your party. My ability to manage large crowds is a huge plus. My contagious enthusiasm, positive attitude and always remaining upbeat will inspire you.
My goal is to help my clients visualize and execute their perfect social event by being their resource and completing all the research for them.
