I'm in the thick of wedding season and LOVING it!

I'm very organised, with most of my ceremonies written 3-4 weeks out from the wedding date. It's still super busy though - lots of last minute vow help, run sheet edits and general support and prep. PLUS starting to meet with my 2025 couples and plan their ceremonies 🥂

Best job ever!

I'm also doing my best to balance the busy time with some pilates, swims and bushwalks 😍

I usually don’t start with the groom waiting at the front in a bride/groom wedding. It’s such an intense time, and I find most grooms prefer not to have all eyes on them for too long.

After a mini groom entrance, there’s this little moment though where we all get to see them, full of emotion, as their life partner walks toward them. 😍

Lou and Drew were an absolute hoot. Such warm, welcoming, fun humans who created a wedding that was totally THEM.

My favourite part was them entering into their wedding together, holding hands, whooping and cheering along with their guests.

Joel’s profile STOOD OUT. Amongst a sea of boring looking dudes, standard tinder profile pics, and immediate left swipes… Reese’s heart skipped a beat when her eyes locked in on a bearded dreamboat, with one knee to the ground, skulling a goonsack.

The conversation flowed like Fruity Lexia, and they decided to meet in real life.

Now Reese and Joel had what I like to call “short term plans” for this tinder date. The idea of a relationship beyond one night wasn’t really in either of their minds. BUT that one night was SO GOOD that they just kept catching up for more.

"2014. Magaluf, Spain.

When Rachel had cruised in to stay at a friends apartment for a holiday, she’d anticipated some fun times, some laughs, probably a few too many drinks… but there was no way she’d predicted the giddy feeling she got when she opened her friend’s apartment door to SUCH a good looking man.

While she couldn’t really understand his Northern accent, she DID understand the attraction she was feeling.

Aaron was not feeling as hot as he looked. He was in a bit of a state coming off a boat party. But while he’d knocked on the door looking for someone else, he found exactly who he needed.. although he did think Rachel was too good for him, and probably was in that moment, given the state he was in.."

Who to choose?

There is a misconception that numbers on each side need to be equal or made up of a specific gender. You wedding party can include any number or genders.
Some non-gendered terms for your wedding party include:
• Brides-mates or grooms-mates
• I-do crew
• Groom crew and bride crew
• Wed squad

Choose people you want closest to you on your wedding day. They’re the ones you’ll be getting ready with and who will be your helpers throughout the day.

✨ BEAUTIFUL HUMANS ✨ Seth and Elly got hitched in style in the Byron Bay hinterland on Thursday and I’m still having all the feels 🥰 From the moment we first chatted, I was looking forward to their wedding day! They just exude warmth and all things lovely, and it’s so obvious that they are such a fantastic team. Their guests were an absolute reflection of this loveliness too, SO many people came up and chatted to me before and after the ceremony. I definitely felt like a welcome guest! We laughed, we cried, we laughed a lot more. There was the perfect amount of mid-ceremony banter and it was pretty beautiful to watch how many guests I made happy cry 🤣 The perfect ceremony came to the perfect finale with a flock of birds flying through just as they were having their first kiss as Husband and Wife 🎉 . .
