Squier P Bass Super Service.
Here we have a Squier P Bass that came in for a service a couple of weeks ago that needed a lot of loving!
This bass hasn't had a fresh set of strings on it since they were put on at the factory in 2012! That's right, what you are hearing in this video is 6 year old strings vs new strings and a service.
We did a complete overhaul on this instrument, which included:
- fresh set of Ernie Ball strings
- truss rod adjustment
- intonation adjustment
- fret level and crown
- string action set which went from a whopping 4.75mm off the 12th fret to a much more reasonable and playable 1.8mm
- electronics check up, which included replacement of a faulty tone knob and solving a grounding issue in the bridge.
- all over clean and polish
What a phenominal difference it has made to this instrument and to the owner! For the best audio results, listen to the video with headphones or some good speakers. Can you pick which is the old strings and which is the new?

2006 Epiphone Les Paul Super Service!
Here we have a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul that came in last week for a Super Service. This service included:
- truss rod adjustment
- intonation adjustment
- string action set
- electronics check up
- fresh set of Ernie Ball strings
- all over clean and polish
First you will hear how it sounded before the Super Service, then after. Can you hear the difference? After the service the guitar's tone is brighter, sustains longer, stays in tune longer and feels 100x better to play.

Guitar Super Service
We've had a few guitars in for servicing this week and thought we'd make a video showing the differences something as simple as a guitar service can make to your guitar tone.
In this video we have a 2016 Jackson X Series Soloist 7 string, which has received a service and modification work, works inclued:
- new push/pull potentiometer to add a larger tonal range (listen out for the coil split sounds in the video, which are made possible with the new potentiometer)
- truss rod adjustment
- intonation adjustment
- fresh set of Ernie Ball strings
- electronics check up
- all over clean and polish
All adjustments, check ups, string change and cleaning is included in our Guitar Super Service.
Modification work is also available.
