Getting ready for the Handfasting in Lockerbie, a happy time on a very wet day in October.
I'm sure everyones thoughts are now turning towards Christmas, I know I have been busy Christmas present shopping.

Autumn is here with all it's beautiful colours and leaves on the ground. A wonderful time of year.
Life as a Celebrant has been much quieter this year, I am looking forward to the Ceremonies in 2022 and especially to a Handfasting Ceremony in Lockerbie on Saturday. We are hoping that from 26th April Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions can have 50 people present. At the moment only 5 people are allowed, unless you are on a Scottish island, where you can have 20 people. Things are moving along slowly.
I had my first request recently for a Ceremony at the top of a mountain, which would have been amazing if I was a fitter lady. I'm sure the lovely couple will have been able to find someone suitable. Wishing all of you with Ceremonies coming up, a very happy day full of fun and love.

What bonnie weather we are having here in Dumfriesshire, blue sky and sunshine, fair lifts the spirits. No Spring Ceremonies for me this year, happy memories of other ones to keep me going. I hope you are enjoying your time in the sunshine. Restrictions are lifting a little at the end of April, with luck we can continue to move forward.
