Plum-Leaved Crab Apple, Malus prunifolia, used as root stock for many domestic apple varieties. I'm looking to make a syrup and some jelly with them! They have a beautiful deep red skin and flesh!

Our Story

Table Focus is a personal chef and small event catering company that specializes in creating social atmosphere that centers around great food. Every dish that we imagine is purposed to create conversation. We cater every menu in collaboration with the client to elevate dishes that evoke familial memories or dreams of far off places. Chef Keilen's creativity will take you on a flavor journey and he will guide you every step of the way!

Chef Keilen Shigematsu classically French trained, but loves to study global cuisine. He considers himself a flavor builder; using global cuisine as inspiration, not limitation. He loves to re-imagine well known dishes as elevated masterpieces. Keilen believes elevation in flavor does not have to be complicated, and any dish can be elevated to a fine dining status if quality ingredients and appropriate techniques are being used.
