We look forward to seeing everyone in a month.

It's going to be a really fun event with amazing regional and local authors. It's a perfect place to pick up a book from the writer and get it inscribed for yourself or someone you're giving it to as a gift.

It's a free event so come out, support the arts, support weird events, and have some fun with us.

Today is such a nice day, it has that fun, creepy vibe and it seems like, you know, it'd be a good day for kids to go out and be spooky and get candy for being dressed up.

Shame that they don't have a holiday like that.

I think it's easy to forget and too many overlook how freaking amazing the strange animal Halloween is.

It brings together so many people, encourages creativity and community, and let's historic spaces welcome visitors who may never venture into those spaces otherwise. Sure, it can be obnoxious, but Halloween has become something really special and unique and darn it, I love this time of year.

I say for what seems like the hundredth time - friends! If you are doing or want to do an event and see an event page, especially on FB, do some investigating to make sure you are dealing with the right person. A LOT of fraud accounts are soliciting money for space at events and people are getting scammed.
