When I decided to pivot, stop attending college for teaching, and launch LFD, I was so worried that I would miss the teaching aspect. I was worried I would miss the satisfaction and long-term gratification of watching someone grow and learn new skills.

After the first year of LFD, I held our first workshop. I was scared sh*tless and didn’t know if anyone would come. Turns out, people reallllyyy love flowers and they love to create. The class sold out. On the event day, I was in awe. Watching every attendee place each bloom and every creation becoming perfectly theirs was more than I could have ever hoped.

Since then, we have put at least one workshop on the calendar every year. Our attendees typically range in skill level: from a first-time designer to someone who has taken our class several times. Everyone learns something new every time, and I truly enjoy watching it all unfold.

I always longed for a studio. A designated space in our home that LFD could reside permanently.

One that didn't include ping-pong tables and offered ample light. I longed for the days that work and personal had separation. I longed to no longer "make do" but thrive in a space that inspired me—one that was true to LFD and what we do.

Small but mighty changes for LFD's workspace mean small but mighty changes in our offerings, and I couldn't be more excited.

Our home studio renovation is nearing its end, and I can't wait to share our favorite space with you. 🤍

There’s a whole lot of new faces around here recently, so 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻.

I’m Brandi. I am the creative director and owner of Lee Floral Design.

LFD is a full service floral design business that primarily designs for weddings and events, but we sprinkle in workshops and holiday florals throughout the year (stay tuned for our holiday offerings).

You’ll typically see my hair in a top knot & rocking an LFD sweatshirt while I’m slinging flowers, designing bouquets and planning for your day.

I’m often drooling over house projects on Pinterest or thinking about future travel plans.

I enjoy drinking copious amounts of coffee, long hikes, sitting by candlelight, trying new recipes, restaurants + listening to jazz music with a glass of wine in hand.

I believe in one word more than anything: transparency. Lee Floral Design has always been built on this premise. I’ll tell you when you don’t need 16 sprigs of pew flowers or that your money is better spent elsewhere (I promise that it is!).

Telling your stories through flowers means that we are able to choose the most beautiful blooms for your wedding day or the most perfect stems for your special occasions. Your important days are just as important to LFD as they are to you.

For the 7th year in a row, we have been awarded Best of Weddings from The Knot.

This is always an award that is near + dear to my heart because this is based on real reviews from real clients. The support means the absolute world to me and we wouldn’t be able to continue what we do without client reviews and referrals. So, to everyone who took the time to write words of praise, I cannot thank YOU enough for allowing me to do what I love. This budding dream blossomed (pun intended) into the most beautiful endeavor and I would never change a thing. I am forever grateful to hold this space in the flower world.

I worked retail floral for a local grocery store chain for the first ten+ years of my floral career (pre-LFD). While I didn't realize it then, I developed this love for the hustle and bustle of the holiday/floral combo. When it came to Lee Floral Design offering Valentine's Day florals for the first time last year and again this year, I decided… Why not!?

While I know how convenient it is to run to your local store at 4 pm on Valentine’s Day, it’s not convenient when they’re picked over and everyone else shopping beside you is frantically looking for the same things you are. Trust me… I have some stories for the books and one may include a potential fist fight. Yes, a fight over flowers. Desperate times call for desperate measures?!

We’ll save the trouble because we’re here again, slinging the prettiest Valentine’s Day flowers (that you won’t have to fight over, I promise 😉).
