The RuPaul's Drag Race Season 11 Miss Congeniality is grabbing her Ultra Clutch and joining the national tour of the hit Broadway show Hairspray, a musical based off of John Waters' iconic 1988 film. West will be playing Edna Turnblad, a major role originated by legendary drag performer Divine in the film version of the musical and Harvey Fierstein on stage. "It is happening!" The Chit Chat production team seeks to recognize the spectrum of life experiences and voices of the LGBTQIA+ community here in the Central Island, and is asking for participants who are willing to tell their story in a 2-5 minute self tape submission that will be included in an upcoming episode of CHIT CHAT that wishes to speak to the relationship of ADDICTION (of any kind) within our community.

If you are interested in participating in this project please reach out to Hyde & Pajamas Drag or the Nanaimo Pride Society before May 30th for further direction.

All submissions will be accepted.
