Popular Wedding Question: When should we send out invitations? 💌

We recommend sending your invitations 8-12 weeks before the wedding date. This gives enough time for planning and sending back the RSVP card in time. If you’re having your wedding out of town, you might want to send invitations out more than 12 weeks in advance to give guests a little more time to arrange travel plans.

Bonus Tip: be sure to prepare a “detail” pieces for your photographer to capture. Items such as jewelry, rings, invite, shoes and of course have your dress and veil nearby ✨

Wednesday Wedding Tips for 2022

Are you starting to or have started planning your wedding for 2022? Here are three tips we think will help you out:

1. Don’t wait to book your venue/vendors! With many couples in the past two years having to postpone their wedding plans, venues and vendors are booking fast this year. Keep in mind some vendors had to close their business due to the pandemic, making the demand for available venues and vendors even greater.

2. Review contracts carefully. Have open conversations with vendors about terms and policies, especially concerning C-19. Make sure you understand due dates, what is and isn’t refundable, and their cancellation and postponement policies. Make sure all agreements are in writing so that everyone is on the same page from the beginning.

3. Create a Wedding Emergency Fund. If 2020/2021 have taught us anything, is to expect the unexpected. Having funds set aside should any unprecedented circumstances arise, you’ll have a fund to lean on.

Bonus Tip: hire a wedding pro *cough cough* to take care of all the moving parts that come with planning a wedding. They can review all your contracts, help find the perfect vendors and assist with back up plans should you need them ✨

Be sure to tag a couple who could benefit from these tips!

Here’s the story behind the custom toppers on Tiffany’s gorgeous cake:

“I chose these toppers because I wanted a keepsake that looked like us from our wedding. They were custom and the designer ( ) used my dress for reference. The 3 cats represents our 2 current cats and the one with wings is our cat that passed during 2020 but we wanted to make sure he was still part of our wedding.” -
