Your plans can look perfect on paper until you step on site and realise everything needs to change.

Yes, this can happen often, purely because a site visit is where ideas settle, layouts come to life and your event begins to take shape.

During this visit my clients and I explored the placements, walked through the different layouts and refined their original idea into something even stronger after seeing the room in person.

We also tasted the menu that will be served to their guests which meant we could make changes based on flavour preferences and guest experience. These are the decisions that are only possible when you are physically present in the venue and supported by a planner who thinks ahead for you.

Choosing the Park Hyatt River Thames was the perfect match for the luxury feel my clients wanted. Watching them light up when they realised this was ‘the one’ reminded me why I do what I do. My role is to guide you to the right decisions with ease, clarity and care so that your event feels exactly the way you imagined.

During one of our planning calls, I asked Joana and Conor, ‘What song should your parents dance into the reception to?’

Without hesitation, they chose We Are Family by Sister Sledge. And just like that, cultures, families, and hearts merged. The music was loud, the laughter louder, and the statement clear. We are one.

Shout out to for being the ultimate hypewoman. The entrances and the activities that followed were so engaging and wholesome. Everyone loved it! ✨️

Love isn’t always loud. It’s steady, certain, and often seen in the quiet moments of life.

As an event planner, I get the privilege of walking closely with my couples. Not just through the details of their big day, but also through the life they’re living while planning it.

My sweet bride Joana radiated joy from our very first meeting to the final dance. Fun, bubbly, and full of warmth, she poured her heart into this day all while balancing her professional exams. It was such a reminder that love isn’t only about the wedding. It's about the journey, the seasons you grow through, and the people who support you along the way.

That’s the heart of what I do: being more than a planner, but a steady support system as love continues to bloom in every season ✨️

When I design a wedding day schedule, I always carve out time for gift exchanges. It’s often one of the only quiet moments a couple shares before stepping into the rhythm of their celebration. It's a chance to pause, breathe, and remember why they chose each other. On Conor and Joana’s wedding morning, I hand delivered a special gift to Conor from his bride. As he unwrapped each item, his face lit up, but it was the polaroids, capturing joyful snapshots of their love story, that stole the moment. He laughed, he reminisced, he beamed. And in the sweetest twist of coincidence, one of Conor’s gifts to Joana was also a collection of photos. Two hearts, telling the same story, in perfect harmony ✨️

In our weekly planning calls, I always encourage my clients to weave their personalities and heritage into the fabric of their day, especially when it's a wedding. One of the touches that Joana and Conor chose was to serve Chapman, a beloved Nigerian drink, on ice for guests to enjoy after the ceremony. Surrounded by flowers and floating candles, this detail became more than a refreshment. It was a celebration of Joana’s roots. Guests adored it, not only for its vibrant colour and flavour but for the story it told, because when culture is honoured, a wedding becomes more than beautiful, it becomes meaningful.
