Mode2k A Retrospective Multimedia Presentation of the Depeche Mode Catalog A collaborative project between two artists originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

MODE2K is a seamless set with both audio & video synchronized in real-time using VJ banks, captured from high-quality sources complemented by Shunt and N:Mode’s revision of the original audio tracks. The concept was developed when the two recently connected to document their experience with supporting Andy Fletcher's DJ tour. SHUNT //
Originally from Plovdiv (Bulgaria) - based out of New York, Shu

nt comes with over 20 years of experience in running, promoting and playing at DM and New Wave events across Europe and US. He is a founder of depeche-mode.org and former resident DJ for the New York DM crew (2009-2013). His portfolio includes closing sets for Recoil in New York and Prague, opening for Camouflage, De/Vision, Seabound, numerous parties in Europe and the US. N:MODE //
Nick Sabev (N:Mode) has spent the last 15 years living across Europe & Australia while organizing and playing at various musical events. Founder of house & techno vinyl-only label Druzhba as well as founding member of the house duo Fuzoku, Nick kicked off his DJ career in 2007 when he opened for Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode / Mute Records). Currently, he is the leading force behind several musical concepts such as Movement at Tell Me (Sofia, Bulgaria) where he also performs under his house & techno moniker - Fuueihou.

What a night in New York City!

Our debut US show at DROM was pure magic — almost 3 hours of immersive audio-visual energy — thanks to Depeche Mode Fanclub New York and everyone involved! This video captures the beautiful ending of our performance.

When we started Mode2k in January, we knew we were onto something special. What followed exceeded our expectations, and we were fortunate to do amazing gigs in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, and Serbia.

We want to take a moment to thank you, especially those who worked long hours and put in extra effort to make our shows successful!

We want to thank everyone who made it to our premiere show in Sofia (on a Thursday!) — Michael Peshev from New Generation, Violeta, and everyone at TELL ME; special thanks to Depeche-Mode.org for their continuous support. Thank you, Manos, George, and everyone at Temple Athens. Special thanks to Leo and Florian at Control Club for building such a fantastic place in Bucharest — we can't wait to be back! Thanks to Marko and Milan at Vrtoglavica Subculture World! A warm thank you to Roberto, the guys from SYNTHOTTANTA - New Wave-Elettropop e molto altro, DM Zena, The Passion Mode, and everyone at Casa Mia Club - Genova! And last but not least, thanks to Matan and Lirron and Depeche Mode Fanclub New York for trusting us with the final show for the season! Half of Mode2k - Shunt will be part of this unique event in New York alongside DJ Ash NYC and Xris SMack. Shunt will be spinning at Taylor Public House after the trip around the Statue of Liberty. Boarding is at 8 PM from Pier 83. Today is the last chance to get reduced-price tickets.
