Common questions... do we hike and get ready or hike in our wedding attire? Here's some tips 1) it depends on the trail we're going on. There's nothing harder than hiking when you can't see your feet. 2), Getting ready at the top or the spot we picked out can make it a little less stressful and you can just focus on hiking to the top as fast as you're comfortable, 3) You can bring a small pop up tent if there isn't cover, you feel more comfortable, or if there's people around. This one was super light and easy. 4) Hike in good shoes, change into others at the top. My best advice is to find a good middle ground of some cute shoes that are very comfortable and have grip. I don't feature feet much anyhow. 5) You can also change back out and lower the potential for dirting your dress more or risk tearing it. Although doing those things are part of the adventure to in my mind.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Annie and Kris wanted to their winter engagement photo session in Rocky Mountain National Park and I couldn't honestly think of a better place. The park is amazing year round and so gorgeous.

I always try to take a moment for my couples to slllloooowww down. Try and remember what this feels like? What do you hear? Certainly helps when you have a dramatic sunset to gaze at while you take some long breaths of relief and let joy wash over you.

This elopement wedding was so much fun. 1) Meeting the in the forest at 2:30am 2) Hiking in the dark to get to the perfect spot before sunrise 3) Exchanging vows just as the sun crests the mountain peak 4) Champagne celebration!

Super excited to share this wedding. Meeting at 3:30am may not sound like the most fun, but it is with these two and going into the mountains to visit with some GIANT wildflowers!

Erin and Connor were pretty ambitious but also wanted to keep things simple for their Crested Butte Sunrise Wedding Elopement. Just them, mountains, and wildflowers. I know, just the spot for you!
