Our Story
Zena Events (previously Zena Manchester) was launched Manchester in April 2017, with an objective of promoting women in music. Our first ever event hosted an all-female line-up to shed light on the all male norm in the industry and we have carried this theme to our events today.
By our second event, we were receieving a great deal of requests from female musicains to play our events and decided to create a blog to feature them all - created in September 2017. One year later, we launched in London and became ‘Zena Events UK’. We now regularly post content on our blog and host our all female events, and continue our objective of promoting women in music.
