I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of Justin and Autumn’s wedding!

I like to think back to our wedding day and how scary, stressful and overwhelming it felt. I was thankful when I could breathe and just spend time with the love of my life, family and friends. Although many things were misplaced, forgotten, etc., it was important to be present. I regret not being present sooner.

Always remember to be present in this journey together. Be present with yourself, each other, and every moment you encounter. Remember to lean on your partner when you need it, and partner, make sure you are there when they do. I pray that God continues to guide you, show his abundance of love and help you treasure every second that this life has to offer.

Who loves a good sandwich? Lunch for some great people at Moore Tires today!

My anxiety got the best of me today but everything turned out well and they were Daniel approved for dinner😍 those sandwiches didn’t stand a chance🤣

Beef on garlic butter brioche: shaved beef topped with Gouda, artisan lettuce, pickled red onion and a horseradish garlic aioli.

Chicken on sourdough: shaved chicken topped with sharp cheddar, red onion, tomato, avocado and chipotle ranch.

Today is travel day for vacation but first…cookies😍

I’ve been a busy lady preparing for many catering opportunities, so pardon my absence!

I am thankful for delightful neighbors that let me experiment for their events. Many congratulations to the graduates of 2024! These cookies are headed to a graduation celebration 😍

Cookie Butter Monster cookies-filled with oats, m&ms, chocolate chips and cookie butter.

Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk (y’all know these well🤤)- filled with nutty brown butter, dark Belgian chocolate chunks, semi-sweet chocolate chips and sprinkled with salt.

Strawberry Cream- filled with freeze dried strawberries and white chocolate chips.

Lemon Crinkle- filled with lemon juice, extract and zest then rolled in powdered sugar.

Thankful for Bethel Baptist Church for allowing Love, Louie to create a brunch grazing table! This was no small feat and I appreciate their patience as we navigated things together.

Watching the fellowship of 100 women was so joyful. As they gathered they could find rest in The Lord and recognize the living hope that He provides. The speakers were vulnerable and I’m in awe of their strength and resilience💜

Introducing new items!

Take a trip down memory lane:

Gram:
Phoenix chicken, wrapped around ham and coated in wheaties, fried until crispy golden brown. Served with a homemade sweet and sour sauce made of pineapple juice, vinegar and a secret ingredient 🤫

The story behind this dish goes back to a Chinese buffet. Gram used to tell the story over and over, so much so that I could finish her sentences. She repeated it so often but thought each time was the first.
Gram and Granny liked it so much that they replicated it at home. Usually served with potato wedges but this year I did my crispy potatoes😍

Dad:
Green burritos, flour tortillas filled with slow cooked pork in verde sauce and shredded cheese. These are served wet (verde over the burrito) with more shredded cheese and freshly crumbled queso fresco.

The story behind these is simple, nostalgia. This was a favorite growing up that dad made often. These were requested for birthdays, holidays or, our favorite, dad would just surprise us🥰 I don’t know exactly when these started but I’m so glad I shadowed dad when he made them. My brother requests this for, almost, every birthday.

Today marks five years without dad. You have overwhelmed me with your unwavering support towards achieving my vision fueled by dad's legacy - showcasing how much he impacted everyone around us during his time here; thus filling our hearts with joy & strengthening our collective bond.

I guess you can call him the founder of Love, Louie🤣

I could not do this without your support—you have blown me away. Trying to do this with a full time job can be difficult but I appreciate your patience. You are making dreams come true with each like, comment, share and order.

Today is no exception, cooking therapy is in order. Every year I cook either his favorite food or our favorite food he made us.

Hi all!
I'm currently booked to my capacity. Please note that this is a one-person operation and I have a full-time job, so things can get limited😅 I hate not being able to serve everyone at once but I have to continue to keep myself and my family in mind as well! Self-care?🤣

Once my bigger events are completed, around May, I will let you know about openings—If we haven’t discussed already. Stay on the lookout for any extras that I may post. I’m sure I’ll be experimenting in the downtime!

Special order complete and delivered! This one took me out of my comfort zone because I’ve never cooked anything with Puerto Rican influence. I heard great reviews though!
