I tried my hand at a cozy, loaded potato soup. It turned out SO well!

A thick and creamy base, hearty chunks of potato, topped with cheddar, bacon and green onion.

Hey Lovies!

I am still here🙋‍♀️ how are you? I miss you and hope you are doing well💜

As much as I have loved catering, the break was needed! I am still taking it slow though. A few factors, one being that this is not my full time job—maybe one day it could be?🤔 Others being that I’ve really enjoyed spending time with my family, allowing time to connect with myself and finding what brings me joy (other than cooking😉) as well as the nitty gritty. Work takes up a lot of time, especially as I’m transitioning into a slightly different position. That has taken some of my weekday caterings away, since I’m not in town. Another big thing is surgery. I will, hopefully, be getting a surgery scheduled within the next few months—send your good thoughts this way!

Although things look a little different, this may be Love, Louie for a good chunk of time. Please do not hesitate to reach out about anything. I may not be able to do a lot of in person events like I did last year, right now, but I do still want to put some smiles on faces! You can always double check if I’m available.
Please look through my menu and let me know when you need something.

Daniel and I would love to wish all of our Louie fans a Merry Christmas! Without you, this wouldn’t be possible and we are grateful!

I pray that everyone is enjoying this season, for those that have a harder season, please know you aren’t alone. Find joy in the little things and keep up with those traditions—the best thing we can do is keep our loved one’s traditions alive.

Thanks to Moore Tires for always thinking of me when it comes to lunch! This scheduled lunch had this on the menu: slow-braised beef roast in a red wine gravy, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole and garlic parm mashed potatoes! This year has been extraordinary and busy😅 but I wouldn’t trade it for anything! Great way to end the year. Merry, early, Christmas!

I know I say this often, but I am truly grateful. Today is a surreal day as it marks Love, Louie’s start. One year ago I decided to just go for it and I can say I have no regrets. Sure, the days are long (with blood, sweat and tears to be exact🤣), especially when you work full time and have other duties but it’s been worth it.

Through the year I have been supported by countless people and YOU are the reason for this success. I have learned that I have to take breaks and that there can be a balance so I am working on that. I assure you though, Louie isn’t going anywhere, she is staying! Maybe one day it will be an even bigger success but for right now, all we can do is find out🥰 my goal this year has been to become the person my younger self needed and would be proud of…I can confidently say that little Louie is proud right now and it makes me quite emotional🥹

One year down and many to go! Made my first layered cake to celebrate…don’t expect them often🤣

Today we celebrate one year of marriage!

I cannot do what I do without the support of this, handsome, man. Thank you for loving me and supporting Love, Louie💜

As of right now, we are using the rest of the year to connect, celebrate and just be present with each other. Running a small (but very big) business is hard and we cannot forget to slow down and be present with those we love.

Love, Louie is NOT leaving. We are just taking a break! We ask that you continue to love us, support us and respect this choice. Keep a look out because Louie does have fun things coming! All prescheduled events/lunches/orders are still being done. Please feel free to message me still for booking next year’s events! I’ll still have pop up events/orders, just be on the look out☺️
