Maxi promotion first Gloved Boxing event held in Rotherham.
So Maxi Walsh of Hebburn, Tyne and Wear.
Light heavyweight Boxer,
Record 54-2.
The promotion is based on this man a great gentleman and a talented boxer from the north east.
After boxing maxi was the chairman of the Ex-Boxer association.
Maxi had his own gym as well as running the sea cadets and working as a plater in Newcastle’s ship yards and with 4 children and a devoted wife Phylis Walsh, he raised a serious amount of money for charity and a great amount for the royal British legion.
A man well respected and a man that done everything for others running gyms and the sea cadets.
Maxi passed away in 2012 but with maxi promotions his name will be in boxing for a very long time, at the event on Saturday they will a remembrance and silence to remember him self and what he done in the sport of boxing.
We wish his family well.
