“We booked Marissa for our wedding Sept 7, 2024. After chatting with her on the phone, I KNEW she was not only competent but someone who I would get along well with :) Our wedding had a lot of moving parts- REMOTE area, different locations for ceremony/cocktail hour, and reception and TOO MANY vendors! Marissa helped ensure everything was as it should be, including suggestions to help streamline everything. Her layout suggestions were spot on and she bustled my dress in no time so I could join cocktail hour! Marissa really impressed me on the day of- she made sure everything was in place and did SO many things that went above and beyond (some I didnt even know about until later!) from taking a polaroid of us and our guests throughout the night for our photo album to fluffing my dress before i walked down the aisle- I wasnt stressed about anything day of because i knew i booked Marissa. I did my RESEARCH with planners, Marissa was well worth it.”

✨Ceremony Goals✨

We are back from Mexico and now heading into the wild for some last minute Christmas shopping. So today we are keeping it simple. Here are a few things that will help you create a a memorable ceremony 👇🏼

1. The Setting - Use what you have. In this case, K&K had a LOT to work with. The beauty of the trees and greenery around them paired with the incredible florals from was an absolute chefs kiss.

2. The Vows - The most memorable vows are the ones YOU actually write. Sure, ChatGPT can help you embellish, but nothing compares to the authenticity of hearing your own voice come through in your writing. Take some time to do this one 🤍

3. The Timing - Rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal. Running through what the ceremony is going to look like will help iron out any last minute kinks and answer any questions. How to walk, where to stand, how to exit, etc… Prepared but not over rehearsed is our goal.

4. The Kiss! There’s so much anticipation for this moment so when it finally happens, we burst with so much joy. Hold that kiss for 3-5 seconds so your media team can be sure to get the shot!

This ceremony had it all which is why it was one of our favorites from 2024 🥰

✨Getting Ready✨

We are getting ready to leave Mexico so we wanted to share our favorite getting ready tips! It’s so funny to see the different vibes between the bride and groom when getting ready. Save this post and send it to your wedding party!

1- Let whoever you are getting ready with know what kind of vibe you are wanting while getting ready. Music, energy, etc!

2- Communicate ahead of time what the schedule for the morning and day will be. Answering one million questions while you are trying to zen out is not ideal.

3- Keep your getting ready space tidy for photos and for end of the night packing / clean up.

4- Don’t forget to enjoy. We know it sounds silly but soak in every moment. Don’t overthink it. Don’t overcomplicate it. You already did all of the planning and (hopefully) you’ve hired us to take care of everything for you!

There was something so magical about being surrounded by the towering trees and endless shades of green in the forest. The way the sunlight filters through the leaves, and the way Kathryn’s dress looked like the most ethereal thing we’ve ever seen. WE WERE UNWELL!

As you’re exploring your options and day dreaming about the big day, keep these three things in mind:

1. Consider the natural aesthetic of the venue. What’s already there can be exactly what you need! Almost anything can be an amazing photo op moment.

2. Don’t rush the search. If you’re not absolutely in love with the venues you are visiting, keep looking!

✨When Dreams & Style Collide✨

This was the styled shoot of my dreams! Here’s another one of the looks we created with our incredible team of vendors. I’M OBSESSED. 😍

But here’s the ☕️: It was hot AF that day. Like 103 degrees in the direct sun. We started setting up early, but had to do 1 set at a time so things wouldn’t melt or wither away. The draping wasn’t working exactly how I envisioned and at that point I was seeing stars from being out there for so long. All of my makeup was dripping off and it took everything in me to not jump in that pool 😂

BUT, just like at a wedding, our pro team pulled together and everyone helped make it happen. I’m so proud of this look and so thankful for our team that day! 🫶🏼
