Thank you guys so much! It means a lot that yall took a moment or a whole 90 minutes to hang out with us on our live stream! We think it was a success since we didn’t get booted for any copyright infringement. So make sure you follow us to know what time we’re going live again. We are changing to Sundays so at least you know that. The time is what we’re debating currently. But once again, thank you everyone!!

I’d been waiting for this post to pop up in my Facebook memories cause it’s the way I remember when this all started. If you had told 25-year-old DJ Laptop that in 10 years, I’d be where I am, having made awesome friends from different places and working 30+ events a year, I would have said “no way.” Mr. Martinez took a shot on a rookie with some second hand speakers and some ADJ par cans (the ones that would burn you) and even though he’s no longer with us, I will always be extremely grateful for the push he gave me to finally leave the bedroom.
Thanks to all my past clients, repeat clients and future clients. Thanks to all the other DJs who have allowed me to help or passed along bookings. Thanks to the DJ companies who trust me to maintain the quality their names carry. And last but not least to all my friends and family who have stuck by and watched and helped me grow. Here’s to the next 10 years of music mixology!!

There’s only so much you can fit in one minute so here’s only a few clips of how last night went down. I have to admit. I was a bit nervous because I became aware there were going to be a number of guests from my high school days present, people I hadn’t seen in over 15 years, so I felt the pressure but it could not have played out any better. Lily and all her guests showed out and was a blast! Thanks once again to Catherine and Chris for trusting us to rock with you guys!!

And shout out to the awesome staff at Las Hadas, per usual. They really do great things there and know how to take care of their clients. If you’re looking for a venue, they are highly recommended! And book me too. Why not? lol

I made this one 10 years ago in the desert of Iraq while on deployment. That’s when I got my first controller and this was the result. I made it for myself so I could stay motivated at the gym or when going on a run (yeah I ran back then). Anyway, I have released it on for you listening pleasure. Hello there!!! Welcome to this awesome IG page (as it is in the works lol)
Allow me to re-introduce myself (or just introduce myself). My name is Mariana Díaz of 5th Element Ent. I’ve had a number of different names trying to find that one that would fit all around. Some of you may remember my DJ Laptop days, or my mini films with Diaz Productions. Most of you know me as DJ Tweek. I’ll always hold that name near and dear to my heart but as of today, we’ve settled on Daze, as a play on my last name.

A little bit about myself: I’m a 34 y.o. Texas native (born in the Valley but grew up in Dallas so I call it home).
I started doing choreography first back in 2006 after walking into a Latin Boyz Sunday practice in 2005. I knew how to dance, thanks to my cousins and friends, but I never knew what it took for choreography until that point.

The fire to want to start DJing started back in middle school when .elmachin.diaz let me borrow his copy of 2 Bad Mice. A couple years later, I would hear DJ Pato on the radio mixing at and that sealed the deal. In 2008, I made some mixes using Acid Music Studio and got my first controller in 2010 when I was Iraq for OEF. Made my first official mixes using Virtual DJ and have been progressing ever since.

Last, but not least, I would actually document everything back in my youth when the parental bought a camcorder (the big heavy one over the shoulder). I would record our day to day lives and any party we had. You could say I was a bit of a vlogger before it became a thing on YouTube lol. I came back to camera work around 2014 when I started getting consistent choreography jobs and decided to make mini films out of them.

Today, we primarily offer DJ services for any event but will do choreography for XVs/weddings, if requested, and recently have focused on DJ photography/videography. So if I’m not mixing, you’ll see me behind the camera capturing epic dance moves.

I love what I do and have a blast doing it. Events aren’t meant to be stressful. They’re meant to enjoy the moment and make wicked memories. So remember,
