Montana Q - Competed our first competition in 2010 @ Somkin The Coeur d'Alene Competition. Since then we got hooked on BBQ and designed our own BBQ Sauces & Rubs. In 2011 we started to incorporate our BBQ with our catering and competed on the pro BBQ circuit. For being a newbie at this sport we did pretty well for our true 1st year competing. In late July we changed our name to Montana Q. Stay Tuned for future results and pictures of competitions.

Look at those beautiful ribs. We wouldn’t expect anything less from these award-winning BBQ champs at Montana Q Bar-B-Que House. Their story starts like many of our customers'…with a passion for perfecting their BBQ craft at home for friends and family. Before they knew it, they were hitting the KCBS competition circuit and placing right away. The experience and passion grew into a catering business. Now they’ve been at it for nearly 15 years and we’re lucky to have them as customers. 🙌

From the cashiers to servers, the rice scoopers to meat cutters, the rice makers, meat cookers, replenishers, rib rubbers, pepper preppers, and dishwashers!!!! Our Story

Montana Q - We competed our first competition in 2010 @ Somkin The Coeur d'Alene Competition. Since then we got hooked on BBQ and designed our own BBQ Sauces & Rubs. In 2011 we started to incorporate our BBQ with our catering and competed on the pro BBQ circuit (Kansas City BBQ Society). We specialize in Pork Butt, Pork Ribs, Brisket & Chicken. For being a newbie at this sport we did pretty well for our true 1st year competing. Since then we have have won multiple first places in Pork, Brisket, Ribs, Chicken & BBQ Sauce. Currently we don’t compete as much as we did back then, but mainly focus on making awesome Que for our customers. We currently travel to multiple BBQ festivals on the west coast to slang our meats. One of our favorite festival is Best In The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off in Reno,NV, which is held every Labor Day Weekend. This festival sees over 500,000 hungry BBQ rib lovers and serves about 300,000 lbs of ribs in a short six days.
