Yesterday, Placer Valley Tourism & At The Grounds teams and our Board members gathered at The Rising Zone for a productive Board Retreat. We discussed future goals, partnerships, and the significance of sports tourism in Placer Valley. Special thanks to Yvonne, Founder of The Rising Zone, for guiding us in a rejuvenating breathwork exercise, and to Scott from Leap Solutions for leading insightful discussions. 🥗 Liberation Foods provided a delicious lunch that kept us fueled for collaboration!

🥌 Wine Country Curling Club is hosting the annual Crush Bonspiel at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville this Labor Day weekend! 32 teams from across the U.S. and Canada will compete in this exciting tournament, which also honors the late Jerome Larson, a pioneer of curling on the West Coast. 📣 The 2024 Senior Softball USA Western Nationals are in full swing! 🥎🎉 A huge thank you to Lincoln Boy Scouts Troop 160 for the impressive color guard and to Allie from Tamraloo Studios for her beautiful rendition of the National Anthem during the Hall of Fame ceremony for Chris Dayak on Tuesday at Foskett Park.

From July 30 to August 4, senior softball teams are competing across various parks, bringing intense competition and camaraderie to Placer Valley!

🎉 Last week was a whirlwind of fun for Placer Valley Tourism at the 2024 Placer County Fair! From the vibrant Opening Ceremony to the Western Fairs Association Member Mixer, coordinating the Community Stage, marketing support, and attending the Junior Livestock Auction, there was non-stop excitement. And OF COURSE, the 4th Annual Placer County Fair Rib Cook-Off was a huge highlight! 🏆

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended the Opening Ceremony and the Rib Cook-Off judges for being integral parts of the Community Mosaic at the Placer County Fair! 🎡
