N + L chose to celebrate their wedding surrounded by their closest friends and family on the 16th floor of Charlotte Restaurant & Lounge, overlooking the Seattle skyline. We brought their celebration to life with vivid burgundy florals, sculptural botanicals, and organic movement, layered with warm wood, glowing candlelight, and a touch of wildness. The florals echoed the warmth of the room while creating movement across the tables and framing that incredible Seattle view.

Sakshi invited her family and closest friends, who flew in from all over the country to celebrate her. Seeing everyone gathered around one long table, laughing, sharing stories, and toasting to her was such a beautiful reminder of how deeply loved she is. The entire evening felt warm, intimate, and full of joy. It was one of those celebrations where every little detail simply belonged.

On a personal note, this event meant so much to me. I’m genuinely grateful every time someone trusts me with their flowers, but being hired by another wedding vendor hits a little differently. They meet and work alongside incredibly talented creatives all the time, so the fact that Sakshi thought of me and entrusted me with bringing her vision to life was incredibly humbling. It felt like such an honor, and I’m still in awe that she chose us as one of her vendors. Thank you and cheers to another amazing year around the sun 🫶🏼

Now here we are in mid-July, the nasturtiums are spilling everywhere, the phlox and painted tongue are blooming, the pansies, calendula, and herbs are thriving, and we’ve been harvesting lettuce and zucchini. By the end of this month, we’ll finally have tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants too. Oh I just realized that I like taking pictures of 🐝🐝🐝. I will get good pictures of hummingbirds and butterflies in the near future 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️.

flowers in MAY in my garden 🌿

Princess Charlene roses, heirloom roses planted by the previous owner, chocolate ranunculus, Tecolote Café ranunculus, Japanese maple, rhododendron, lilac, and the very last of the bleeding hearts.

This month I learned how to properly prune roses and lilacs, planted a few more David Austin English garden roses, and spent most of my days moving between computer work and my tiny greenhouse (repotting vegetables and flower seedlings for the season ahead). I also finished knitting another sweater just in time for spring weather (featured in the last few slides). We had such a lovely Mother’s Day weekend with my mom.

Do you have any favorite flowers that bloom this time a year?? Mine has gotta be this ranunculus and sweet color roses.

April 2026 - bleeding heart, hellebore, spirea, coral bell, daffodils

I’ve been manifesting this moment for years. I’ve dreamed of having my own garden for as long as I can remember. In my mind, I’d arrange flowers freshly cut from my garden to decorate my cozy home. We moved into this place last October, when everything was just sticks and bare branches. Watching my garden blossom this spring has been nothing short of magical.

I feel so blessed and grateful to wake up each day and witness its beauty. I want to create a series of “what’s growing in my garden” arrangements based on each month or season, and I’m looking forward to making many more.

Cheers to the first batch of beauty!

A gentle reminder to stop and smell the flowers.Nature really is one of the greatest gifts we have.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, pause for a moment. Step outside, take a walk, and look around. There’s beauty everywhere.

Notice each petal.
Touch them softly.
Feel your breath begin to slow.

And maybe, just for a moment, your heart softens too.

You’re okay.
Everything will be okay.

Sending love and hugs to whoever needs them right now. 💕
