The Moonshine series currently comes in the form of the following:

MOONSHINE: UPCOMING
A 4-act show that features new, fresh and upcoming acts. May feature a mix of acoustic and electric acts. MOONSHINE: ONLINE
This show features a songwriters round format, where 4 singer-songwriters sit on stage at the same time and take turns singing songs. Acts are encouraged to interact with each other, eithe

r musically or by talking about their music. Each act plays the equivalent of 30min. The show is also streamed live online at new.livestream.com/moonshinekl

MOONSHINE: SPOTLIGHT
Our flagship ship show that features 4 of some of the best acts the Malaysian independent music scene has to offer. Moonshine happens twice a month at Laundry Bar in The Curve, PJ and rotates between the formats above. Entry is free. FEEDBACK OPEN MIC (Acoustic only)
Happens every 2nd Tuesday of the month at The Bee Jaya One. An acoustic-only open mic open to all. No auditions required, just come and sign-up at 7pm on the day (no pre-booking of slots!). FEEDBACK OPEN MIC
Happens every 4th Tuesday of the month at The Bee Publika. Exactly the same format as the above except that we welcome full electric bands as well as acoustic acts. Entry for the open mics at The Bee are free.

Our Story

The Moonshine series currently comes in the form of the following: FEEDBACK OPEN MIC Happens once a month at The Mockingbird in Bangsar Telawi. An open mic open solo/duo acoustic acts, no auditions required. Just come and sign-up at 7pm on the day (no pre-booking of slots!). Entry is free.

LINDY HOP LIVE A quarterly live show featuring swing jazz bands for the local Malaysian lindy hop community. Open to dancers and non-dancers alike. Cover charge applies.
